I know you don't read the comments much but I'm honestly curious about the point of this build. We all know your talent level with fabrication and such. Was this build just to prove that a 100% off the shelf bolt together jeep could be easily built by one person and survive ultimate adventure? It seems that way as this jeep definitely seems like a total departure from your usual projects.

If I had to guess, sponsorships...he could fab everything, but TH-cam alone doesn't pay the bills as well. Just a guess, but everyone needs some sort of income to pay for the hobby. 👍

Not everyone is looking for a custom fabbed project. This build is for those beginners looking to build a Jeep with some quality off the shelf parts. Plus its a Jeep, there are a million great parts out there for them that you can just bolt on, you rarely need to fab stuff. But don’t worry There will be future builds with more grinding dust for sure.

Fred did a video where he explains why he built a JL. And I have nothing to do with sponsorship it had to do with Parts left in the shop from another build. I don’t by any means think it’s a dream build, but he had an opportunity to do a full build and went with it.
