- Installed the newest additional ambient lights for my Audi A4 B9, which this kit comes with lights that were pre-installed on the OEM trims on the passenger and driver side. @@YaodeChain this is you stock foot wire what you show, but you connected to left and right side door you need to connect trim light on the left and right trim stock door light to be on the same color

Hello, I have the premium model with just white ambient lighting. If I got this, will it still work and display white? Because that’s all I’m really looking for. It be nice to have ambient, but I’m not gonna go the extra route.

Nope, you will need new lights and modules. Not just coding.
How did you drop the glove box. All bolts removed it won't come down.

that's not condenser cleaning, for that you most likely need to just replace your cabin filter, plenty of diy videos if you search, pretty easy

Did you ever figure this out? I plugged mine into the back of the light control panel (where you turn the headlights on and off) and got a bunch of error messages so I’m stuck
these new lights will be adjustable in mmi as stock ones? and this full set (base lights+additional will be completely synchronized ?)

so i got my kit and i guess my premium A4 2020 does not have the matching connector for it. I need a converter because my current connector at the footwell is the same as the audi logo LED courtesy light connector on the door. =(

I wonder does it affect the interior quality opening these pieces to add stuff so often? Do you start to hear plastic noises or smth?
You will don’t hear anything as long as you did the installation properly
that's what i'm afraid of. i just got a brand new 2022 S5 and i wish it had the dash ambient lights but im not brave enough to do this for now lol. if you do it right you will have no issues but its very hard to do that DIY because there's always a risk of breaking a clip or just loosening something from the original tightness, i'll wait a year or two until the car naturally makes noises and then i'll think about it lol.

Hi, I installed ambient lighting that is coded with OBD and it gives me the side assist and exit error, do you have any experience with that? thank you!
must have: Ross-tech VCDS if you already don't. Sovles 100% of those types of problems. plus you can permanently disable door chime and seatbelt chimes. amongst other things.
It took me about 40 seconds to go into my car and make it so when you pick DYNAMIC it actaully is set to "race characteristic" which is an unpublished high performance mode you cannot normally access. It's used to get the best specs out of the factory tune for the magazines.

sounds like you have the premium package, you should have white lights in your door panels as well you just need to turn the brightness up from the MMI as they might not be visible to you with the brightness down
Hi, you can upgrade your entire ambient system to the multiple colors, but you have to change all of your lights that you currently have. And some coding after the installation. It is very complicated to change all of those lights. If you know someone who can help you to do the installation, then I can help you to get them.

You have to change all of your currently lights, and some coding after the installation.
