@themetalknight2005 that’s a great question! It can be frustrating figuring out which color is which. I have a few solutions.. 1.) I did this video about colors and shades. I recommend checking it out. ⤵️ What Colors do you Need? A Guide to Perler Bead Colors! th-cam.com/video/_Ka-dT7ONZU/w-d-xo.html 2.) TopTierBeads has a color chart that is very helpful. toptierbeads.com/pages/top-tier-and-perler-color-chart-and-comparisons 3.) I’ve seen people have a bead organizer with drawers and glue a bead of that color on each drawer to represent the correct color. Hope this helps!! - Ryan
How do you a stand for a character that has only one bead as a contact point but the perler is big . I hope that makes sense but I want to make a character that even if I add beads because the contact points are only one side it seems like it would just fall over .
Great question! It’s all about experimentation. I can say with all the large perlers I’ve made, it does help to have multiple contact points. I would say as long as it’s balanced in some way (symmetrical), it might work with one contact point. To be safe, I’d make sure you have more than one contact point, especially if you are taking time to make a large perler. Most often, the taller they are, the harder to balance…usually if it’s wider, it will stay balanced. Hope this helps!
@@nostalgicnicknacks yeah I think it did. It's amazing how you respond to vids months after they come out. I'm going to make Betty for my mom . Have to use regular blue but she will like it and I used to watch the Flintstones on boomerang as a kid I'm 24
I’m 37 and grew up with Looney Tunes, Jetsons, Flintstones, and a slew of other Saturday Morning cartoons that were awesome! Best time for animation in the 90s …very cool time indeed. Glad you experienced those great classics! Yes, I’m working hard not to just grow subscribers and responding …but to also grow this community of fuse-beaders! So I’m happy to respond quickly and help others. That’s awesome you’re making Betty it’s going to look great! Feel free to email me @ rdwalker23@gmail.com if you want to share your project with me. ✅ Happy beading! - Ryan

@@nostalgicnicknacks I watched a lot of those shows. They showed reruns of these old shows on this channel called boomerang.
@themetalknight2005 gotcha. Yep, boomerang came around a littler bit later for me. That was animation at its peak. 👍🏻
