These guys are a fantastic group relying on actual singing, instruments and no studio magic. The odd thing is their style isn’t normally my cup of tea but a few tunes have converted me. I also love the fact they’ve bucked the industry and gone the other way. I’ll always support true talent like this

what i like, beyond the banjo and the music and all the rest, is that it's not a one-note event. Different players, sometimes, different voices (so everyone gets a shot at it sooner or later), different music. And they just look like they're having fun. =)
The more I hear from this group, the better I like them! Love this song! Would love to see them in concert someday!

You don't want a ukulele. You want a mandolin. Twice the strings, with far greater sound. That is the instrument played in a blue Grass type band. Thanks for the warning though. Well, I have an unopen bottle of Mascal Tequila and a very out of tune antique ukele. Just need to open the bottle & learn to play it again. Haven't touched it in 27 years. Of course enough Tequila will make everything sound f'n awesome 😉

An Indian American singing about coal mining in West Virginia.....damn I love it. How beautifully American. Also, this song truly conveys the sad desperation I see in those little hopeless towns in the hollows of WV. As a member of the Hatfield clan, this shit makes my heart ache. Well done gentlemen.
