Love the title of the video, whether true or not. Takes some cahones to put it all out there on the line going into production. Sweet looking frames, love the idea and I know they will sell well. The pumpkin with cream logo, I want to eat it up. So tasty!
Thanks for the kind words! The biggest risk we all take is time. We never get that back. Adam is super talented, so there are easier opportunities for him to make money. He chooses the harder path inorder to do something he is passionate about.
Thank you! Its crazy to think how a one person company like Adam's can do to influence the cycling industry. Even "small" brands like Surly do thousands of bikes per year and have multiple employees.
Lived in Oakland for 25 years until recently. I'd be mostly nervous about keeping that inventory in a warehouse in West Oakland these days. Maybe get all of those frames into bike index now.
It was somewhat a joke. But for sure, smaller companies have to take bigger risks. The small companies that took risks are where all your gravel bikes, 29ers, dropper posts, allroad, bikes packing bikes came from.
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT TH-cam shock jocks want to tell you the bike industry is an evil and doomed but things are pretty ok in the boutiquey niche over here.
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT well i didn't watch it, I couldn't, it was that bad. i had to skip ahead. I would be embarrassed with that kind of hype. Seriously, that was about the dumbest video ever. Rewatch it and ask yourself if that was worth posting on youtube? This guy talks about "gimmicks" in the bicycle world and then goes into all the gimmicks he is involved with. And he mentions Ritchey. With all due respect, seriously? That was a mistake to mention Ritchey being too large as you wait to open boxes from Taiwan. This guys bikes are ugly as hell.

@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACTwell said! Agreed.
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT Wait, there are???
Great to see small bike companies taking chances and growing. Thanks for the vid Daniel.

These inner looks are so cool! Love Sklar and your stuff!
Glad to see Adam could get some help unloading a truck from an unpaid intern.
@@yumyumhungry hah! He paid us in sandwiches and good times
This format lends its self nicely for a “between to bikes” interview haha
great suggestion! I will try it on my next framebuilder video when I visit Meriwether Cycles

Unless you are running a weed shop or an Apple store West Oakland is the safest it has ever been.
@@davidmurphy9151 uhh, not too sure about your statement...the DogTown i lived in 25 yrs ago was a much nicer place than it is today.
Being a trucker i would love to deliver to a bicycle company!!
Great unboxing!
Oh man i am struggling to not buy a tall tale....

Dont... Your bike is great

Are these bikes designed in Oakland and made overseas?
NICE!
👏👏
I like Mr.Sklar as a being
it's an indictment on the state of the bike industry when a couple dozen frames are anyone's net worth. the stuff is silly expensive
🙄

This is more than a couple dozen frames. Steel MOQs are upwards of 100 per order

Seriously? UNBOX THERAPY????? Five minutes watching boxes get unloaded?
And in the end, an upward sloping top tube that makes no sense at all.
Thanks for watching!
