      Hindsight is 20/20 but the right move for him to make was to get out of that corner after eating that kick, reason he fell is it was un-protected and took his wind. He needed to circle and try to recover not go toe to toe against the fence.

      @@gorgo5418 He was thinking enough to nod his head, raise his guard, and duck, so he was thinking clearly enough to pivot and get out from against the fence. He just wasn't thinking to move away. But he definitely needed some recovery time.

Most styles mustneeds be supplemented anyhow, and people from all manner of combat and martial systems and backgrounds have achieved success and victory in the octagon, throughout the history of the sport.

      MVP and Daniels were both sport karate champions and actually fought each other more than once. Daniels amazingly also received a black belt in TKD and won championships in that art as well.

    This is an example of how point sparring precision and technique carries over to full contact. Point sparring tournaments are hard win because of the speed and there is some serious contact that takes place. Daniel's is really good at both. Great display of skill.
