I've watched the Dragon fight for 15 years this is the 1st time seeing him in awhile. Not One thing has changed about his fighting style, attack retreat again n again and he's always been Classy and Humble in every win. Great fight!!

@@hunterjager9538 Happens to every fighter as they age its Still Amazing though watching them fight n win 30 years into their careers. Look at what The Natural Randy Couture was able to do he Won the Heavyweight Title twice and the Light Heavyweight Title once in his mid 40s..

Before Lyoto, I was used to looking at the internet and people saying Karate is useless and bulls***. When Lyoto started winning you could still hear some people saying it is not the karate, but the bjj. A year later... they were ALL silent.
Machida is one of my favorite MMA fighter. I watched him fight in person! It was great!

He was great. He one of my favorite fighter. Karate style makes MMA more interesting. Add more dimension to MMA. Like the philly shell or Peek a boo styles in boxing. Everybody don't need to be Muy Thai style fighters to be champ.

Machida will always be my favorite mma fighter, I just wish his stamina was as good as his skills
Lyoto has been consistent as a martial artist and still looks great for his longevity in his career. Most of his opponents have retired or let themselves go. He's up there with GSP in terms of discipline and professionalism.

Lyoto no auge foi um dos melhores da história.
O rafael tinha tudo para ganhar, bem mais jovem, potência, e gás... porem teve pouca explosão durante a luta, sempre que fez apavorou o machida, porém a experiência do lyoto fez com que ele gerenciasse melhor a luta. Merecido para o lyoto
O Lyoto nos seus dias de ouro tinha ganhado sem dificuldades do Rafael, ele era um monstro, mas já ta na hora de se aposentar

Ive always loved watching lyoto. His style is meant more for being faster. I feel thats why he won at lhw so much because he was faster than anyone else. Now that he fights at middleweight others being even close in speed makes him lose more imo. But hes older now. Love the guy

Love the fact a Karateka can be competitive in MMA Go Machida
Karate is legit. It works on the highest level of MMA. Wonderboy is past his Prime and dominate elite MMA fighters. Imagine Wonderboy in MMA in his Prime. GSP claimed his back ground is Karate and he doesn't like sacrifice movement because of it. He is also one of the best MMA fighters of all time. Karate won UFC belts and on of the best MMA fighter of all time had Karate background. You can't get more legit than that. I think Karate makes MMA more interesting. It's like the Peek-a-boo style or Philly Shell style in boxing. They all work and they all have their strength and weakness, but these styles can also win belts.
