These are the best sneaker collection vids by far for me. Not a celebrity with plugs from Nike, not a spoiled kid w dad’s credit card, not a reseller hoarding 2000 pairs of shoes...... just a normal every day dude talking about his collection because he’s been passionate about them for a long time, not because they’re hype now. More ‘real ones’ like this guy plz.

Awesome vid! Just worried for his collection being in the attic! Shouldn't he move it to the basement where it can be easier to manage temperature and humidity ? Saw a bunch of vids with old pairs crumbling, stuff gave me nightmares and made me invest in temp control for my collection

@@SportsDissected Let’s say you have a fire on the first or second floor. That looks like an older building, ballon frame(wood) construction it’ll travel straight up to the attic. Not to mention when our guys go up to the roof and cut holes for ventilation. We’d go up there and check for fire extension by busting out all the walls and soaking everything down real good. I don’t know how they do it out in Boston but in my neck of the woods, all his stuff would be soaked and covered in drywall & other debris

Now I collect anything really comfortable.
Several hoka shoes and boots. Few sceechers.
I had 2 pair of first Jordans, couldn't find them in size 9 nowhere.
And we were at a myrtle beach mall week later,
And the store we were in.
Only had size 10 and 13.
I picked up the 10s, way to big, but I was getting them, my younger brother smaller bummed, the guy working there, said wait, went to back, brought out another pair of 10s, he set back for himself.
I wore mine alot, but my brothers were still in box.
Sold in 2016.
Got 1200, for pair in box,
And 800, for mine.
Same guy, and he drove 4hrs to Kentucky.
He said he owned over 200 pairs of Jordan shoes.
Very wealthy. He was in a 90,000 dollar jag, with a Rolex. He also said he had a even bigger sunglasses collection. Said he collected vintage raybans.
And people pay big money for certain ones.

My respect for him shot up when he talked about GRs mixed in with the hype shoes, 100% agree that every true collection needs some low-key heat interspersed with the high-hype stuff. Gotta say I really disagree with his "you can't be a sneakerhead and not like/appreciate X/Y/Z shoe" comments though, it's unnecessary gatekeeping IMO.
