Looking foward to it, while being realistic, it’s not beating Disney, but it’s definitely going to help, now all they need to do is fix rides that seen in a bad light (fast and furious) and add better ones

Really good video… I visited Seaworld Orlando for the first time this past weekend and I must say Universal is going in the right direction. Seaworld is covered in trees which add plenty of shade making you want to take a casual stroll through the park….
I’m super excited for this park. It’s gonna be amazing. However, as someone already mentioned, I really wish that the Potter, and Dark Universe lands had rides for kids. There is literally nothing for kids in those two lands. Which means, kids will swamp the Super Nintendo, and How to Train Your Dragon lands. Which I guarantee will require a reservation to enter those 2 lands. Universal is labeling a splash pad as an “attraction!” That’s ridiculous.
While I appreciate all the triple A attractions that this park will open with year one, I fear there will be very little for the little ones to do. I'm hoping that there will be some flat rides to soak up the traffic so that people have things to do while they are waiting for the big attractions. Thats the problem with islands of adventure and studios Florida. All the little ones attractions are concentrated in one area. Every land should have some kind of flat ride that can soak up the traffic so that we're not all just waiting on the big attractions
Universal doesn't care about kids and families. They only care about teens and early 20s
Yeah, this is why I’m skeptical of all the people saying Epic Universe will kill Disney. Universal has always had a reputation for being more geared towards tweens & teens compared to Disney, and looking at the lands & rides lineup I don’t think Epic is really gonna change that very much. I feel like most families will probably still go to both, even if maybe the ratio of time spent at each is closer to 50/50 than in years past.
@@JFrombaugh you're totally right. This won't kill Disney. Families with little ones are still gonna gravitate to Disney.
That said, I am super excited about Epic. All the attractions look amazing. Theme park goers are going to benefit from increased competition.
I am getting so irritated with this narrative. Why do y’all think this changes the game in any kind of way? Four lands devoted to one franchise each is not so special if don’t happen to be a fan of those franchises. Single IP lands are gonna be the death of this industry
The wizarding world proves you wrong if you wanted unique IP lands I would not argue but I assume you don't just want a random mix of IPs because that make less sense than having one land themed to one ip
Honestly, as a theme park fan, I don't need to be a fan of the IP to enjoy it. Ive never seen How to train your dragon, never finished one Harry Potter movie, never played any Mario game except Super Mario world back in the day; but I will definitely enjoy the theme park counterparts. A great is ride is a great ride no matter the IP.
The same holds true of Avatar and Star Wars. Not really a fan of either, but I absolutely love and appreciate the amazing detail that goes into Pandora's and Galaxy's Edge's theming.

"The Greatest Theme Park ever" my god, Universal stans have issues. The part is not open, features the third version of a boring land, 2 lands that are based on dead properties and the children are screaming its the greatest thing ever created lol
Damn thats a take… yeah I agree it might be bad to overhype it but harry potter isnt that bad of a land at all, HTTYD looks decent, and even if it isnt good all the other lands are looking up to actually be good. Also dark universe actually looks good and is a unique and interesting idea.
@@maverick114e9 I was talking about the Nintendo land that is the third version of the same land with the same boring slow moving Mario Kart ride. Harry TERFland will be themed based on a dead franchise written by a bigot and Holocaust denier
