I still don't understand why people feel the need to click "apply" before they click "ok", how dumb can you be? "Ok" does the exact same thing, but it also closes the window, there is no need to click "apply" under those circumstances.
IMO it's probably because sometimes, some programs are written with the following logic - When you click "Ok" It applies the settings and closes the window, but after reset of the application or the device, it resets its previous settings and thats why you click apply.
If you hit OK, but the change wasn't the effect you wanted, you have to go all the way back over and re-open the dialog box, which if you're making frequent changes, gets tedious. Apply lets you see the effect of your action before closing the window. "OK" is a bigger button than the "X" and easier to hit. Also shutup.

Netgear wna1100/RB3011 UiAS-RM , this did not work and mikrotik says it is supported. I plug in the USB device and nothing happens at all.
