Kid's the best all around we've seen in a long time. Great hitter, crazy fast running who steals bases like he's getting paid extra for it. Outstanding outfielder with deadly accuracy on a rocket arm.
Man I miss Trea with the Nats so much Also, that slide into third for his third cycle landed him on the IL for a few days which was long enough for the Nats to go on a downward spiral that summer, eventually leading to the selling of the whole team basically.
What was that player wearing when Turner got a double? It looked like a jacket but I don’t think they are allowed to wear jackets. It’s at the beginning of the video
He is a damn good regular season baseball player, that’s for sure. One of the worst I have ever seen in my life in the playoffs, but regular season? He is damn good
@@ernestopena6777 By that logic the Dodgers should've traded Kershaw a very long time ago. The Giants should've traded Bonds 10 times before 2002. Do you want Joc Pederson back? Because anybody would happily give you a platoon DH with average hitting stats for a top 5 player in baseball simply based on the logic that one of them is worse in the playoffs.
@@jeremymccommons7741 also calling trea a top 5 player is laughable. Hes not even the best on his own team. Mookie, muncy, and probably seager are all better
@@ernestopena6777 Nobody in their right mind is putting Seager ahead of Turner, and even putting Muncy and Betts ahead of him after all of these last three seasons is arguable. Muncy broke out this year and fell back to earth in the second half, he probably finished a worse hitter and defender at a less valuable position than Turner. Yes, I exaggerated by saying he's top 5, but the fact that we can even argue that he's better than MOOKIE FUCKING BETTS, should show just how ridiculously good Turner has been. Did not think this was going to blow up this fast
🐐
He got 100 hits, tied the mlb record for 3 cycles, and went 4 for 4 all on his birthday
Happy Birthday Trea!
All this after he appeared on the Chris Rose Rotation just a few days prior!
He had a cycle from his birthday
Imagine he got traded on the same day
Yeah its nuts!
He already has more cycles in 5 years than the whole history of a few teams

to be fair, hitting it next to Blackmon is an automatic triple

as a phillies fan thats crazy to think about
Trea Turner can ball. Three career cycles. And the only player ever (2023) with 30+ steals without being caught once, 30-0.
really need to see this trea turner in the playoffs rn 🙏 🙏🙏
You just earned a sub bud!
Ain’t no way this the same guy that played in the NLCS today
Right? Its so frustrating how he turned absolute dogshit this postseason
@@ernestopena6777 dodgers effect
Amazing player. And possibly one of the fastest players in baseball.
Imagine hitting for the home run cycle (solo, 2-run, 3-run, grand slam)
should do a highlight video of him throwing it from 2nd to 1st without the ball bouncing 2 times
He is better in dodgers but still very good in the nationals but I mean that slide though in the dodgers 😮💨
He hit 2 against the Rockies
Doesn't make sense but somehow I swear he's gotten faster with time.
He has according to statcast
Crazy to think there’s only been like 5 or 6 cycles in nats history and trea has 3 of them. And he ain’t even on the team anymore😔
I’m a dodger fan. Has trae always slumped in the playoffs ? I don’t remember how he played with the nats in the olayoffs

It is a jacket
From the quick little research I just did my guess is that it was a pitcher
It was a pitcher wearing a jacket. It was also like 20 degrees out and snowing and that game ended like 15-12. Nobody gave a fuck by the end.
Pitchers are allowed to wear jackets while running the bases. They say it helps keep the arm warm but I'm not sure I buy it. Definitely looks cool tho
It's Joe Ross, pitchers are allowed to wear Jackets when baserunning.
one of them was on is birthday
Trea’s so fn hard
Trea Turner future GOAT
He is a goat
He is not going to be if you knew what goat meant you wouldn’t think that
So I put it out there and wouldn't know what `Greatest of All Time` means. Time will prove this statement correct. Keep watching.
