I was at the Phillies vs Braves game, i wanted to leave after the top of the 12th cause i just knew that the Braves wouldn't be able to score 3 right after the Phillies scored 3. The only reason i stayed is cause my girlfriend kept begging me to since she hadn't been to a Braves game before so she atleast wanted to finish this one out. When Adrianza hit that walkoff the first thing she does is jump in my arms, gets right into my ear then screams "and you wanted to leave"? Taught real quick to always keep faith
To be fair, this was 2020. There was no crowd and the announcers called these games in their homes on monitors. They still stink but that was the circumstances that Michael Kay and I believe Paul O'Neill were working with.
