Great video. Thank you so much! I have a border collie who hikes everywhere with me. She is getting old so I wanted something I could use if she just couldn't walk anymore. She still has a lot of energy for an old dog, but it's nice to have this just in case.

Awesome video! My dog is 90 lbs and Iv already had two back surgeries but I’d still carry her with this it looks pretty comfortable

Great tip! There is a trail I'd like to walk that has a ladder. This would be perfect to get the dog up that ladder safely.

Definitely worth doing. Cos they’ll freak out especially if they are lame.

Great video! Have you used dog shoes? Would that help with paw injuries?

I haven’t used them but I could see the advantage of using them with a laceration or dislodged claw.

Do you recon you could wear this with the dog mounted forward? I'm trying to decide between this and the Ruffwear BackTrak, which is made to mount the dog forward or backward, and the pics/videos of the dog mounted forward look much more comfortable for both parties. I don't see why you couldn't, just looking at the design of this, at least if you have a partner with you to help adjust the straps once the pup is lifted.

You could and people do but it’s difficult to close the chest clip that stops the harness slipping off the shoulders as it would be on your back.
