Just for an advice, if u struggle withh adhd like me, dont rush to play rank game, focus on practice and do more deathmatch, make sure ur body and ur mind relax and most importantly if you feel like playing really bad, not in the mood or just not as usual, stop playing the game. Go outside , do sport, do your other hobbies than playing valorant. I've been struggling with my adhd, but I routinely maintain my focus everyday. Last month stuck in silver, and now Diamond 2, I'm looking forward to be Immortal, nothing impossible, just DO MORE PRACTICE AND DRILLS !!! DON'T EVER THINK YOUR PRACTICE IS ENOUGH. Cheers!
A simpler way to put of the risk section: Try to safely convert the advantage if you're winning, and take risks if you're heavily losing. This applies to a lot of other games as well, sounds obvious but too many players tend to chase the momentum or timing that wasn't actually there.
havent played valorant since act 2 nice to see the content creation and guides have improved alot nice vid wouldve helped me back when i was hard stuck plat 2
I'm coming back to PC tac fps games after over a decade (used to play CS 1.6 CAL-M).. I'm absolutely TERRIBLE now as an old man who has been playing controller FPS for the last five years. Thanks for this!
This is a good video but what scares me is the fact the most replayed part is the settings. People say they want to improve but when they have all the info in front of them they still try and cut the corners. There is not one special setting that is going to instantly make you a better player. It requires actual dedication and a willingness to learn no matter the time in order to improve.
You can keep the minimap centered around the player, you just need the minimap more zoomed out. I personally find it easier to locate and fight with the minimap when it rotates with me and I'm centered, but if you have a tiny monitor or low resolution it may not be an option
I'd be happy to reach Gold, ya kidding me?! I will definitely start including these drills into a warm up routine. I've also only been playing escalation so I'm in a HORRIBLE habit of just runnin and gunnin... .. and WAIT, there's a Parkour course on the range?! Mind, Blown. I'll report back next week! cheers!
Both very popular and difficult games to rank up are always opening opportunities for those having much time available to earn money, and all started with Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, which was the most popular game ever.
First thing i do with decision making is look at the map and figure out where your teammates are, are they in a position where they have checked your risk spots (where enemies may be) and where are safe rotations/positions to take a fight, dont take a fight if your in the middle of a two way pass😭 that brings risk of enemies around you
Just hop into a competitive or unrated. Aim trainers and in game practice is useful, and a great tool but it isn't necessary, that'll come along the way as you play. Main thing you should prioritize is game sense, and map knowledge. Once you got that down, understanding map and site setups, aslong as a few agent lineups you'll be good. You can then focus on aim training, and movement mechanics such as strafing, etc. Essentially just play the game, you'll either get better through time or remain shit.
I wouldn't recommend jett to new players,, shes really difficult to make full or even a fraction of use when you dont even know where to keep your cross hair or where the enemies may be after you dash in. Other duelists cool though.
I play so bad ive to start to watch TH-cam videos to improve now. I was stuck gold (even though peak p2) and i somehow got to plat 1 yesterdayyy but i feel like i dont deserve it
honestly i think it depends on how fast your brain gets tired. if you feel your focus fuzzying after your fourth ranked game, you could do one game’s worth of warm up and practice, then play three games.
ive always played cs always prefered cs, forever will, used to play valorant, realize i was trash at the game and uninstall or not want to play it (have it uninstalled since last year) ive been watching some videos and ive wanted to get back at valorant and learn neon (iron mentality, i will get disappointed with how bad i am and quit again:) so this is basically a start over i might come back to this comment after i finish watching the video i just wanted to say this so i'll come back to it after a while
do u think this game prioritizes performance over game sense? to put it into perspective i'm talking about how league (my peak rating game) works you need to get mechanics down so you can prioritize macro without worrying ab micro. does valorant works like that? macro over micro?
I’d just do your research and watch videos on the agents you’re most excited for and then compare, TH-cam’s helped me out a lot deciding who I prefer playing As and who might be my next pick ^^ don’t forget you can also get agents with the in game currency which you can get by just playing :)
Hey konpeki it just so happens that I’m younger than most people who play Val so I tend to make impulsive decisions is there a way for me to get out of that habit?
what about buying new agents as a new/inexperienced player? i really wanna try/buy a new one, like cypher, but i can only afford 1 and dont play often, and so im a little worried that its a bad choice. should i just go with my gut and see how things turn out? or how do you recommend new/inexperienced players to choose their first agent

@@Gingerbreadman7 yea i can afford 2 more agents (bought cypher) problem isnt having to spend game money on agents, but rather not playing often. you get around 8k kingdon credits by completing all 4 daily checkpoints for 15 days. that becomes a long time if youre only interested in playing with friends (i cant control myself in pvp, unless playing only when my friends can, cuz less competitive feeling)
Im still very confused as to how but i havent aim practiced properly in months and still im playing better than ever before. Im at my highest rank ever and i started off the act with like a 8 game win streak match mvp and team mvp all across. It shouldnt be like this but idk this act has some weird matchmaking
1:50 I have never heard someone say valorant was flick heavy? at least compared to like tf2 or quake or overwatch or apex or fortnite or warzone or, you know, any fps at all.
Uh now I play on console this still helped me thank you, but one thing I don’t understand is that your training ground at 7 bot and mine has zero at default is there like a setting or something?
So, basically, how pros became pros without coaches? I know plenty of examples, when pros didn't get any "outside support" and got incredibly good at the game, so, maybe coaches is not that necessary?
That is the point of the video - you can waste any time you prefer with minimal resources and become a pro in 5 years. Or you can try to optimize your learning methods and make it in 2.5 years (not the real numbers, just for an example). Also, about other 'pros' it's difficult to say. Every human being is unique in its context, resources, and point of view. So if you, for example, were playing CS 1.6/any other shooter from when you were 10 y.o. every day you'll have a lot better mechanics and understanding than someone who played Tetris two times a week and never touched shooters. In any case, having someone with deep knowledge of any topic is an undisputable advantage and would help you learn much quicker than just being alone and trying some stuff.
i will be hard stuck for 2 more years bc of my computer i have a laptop with 60 fps and its small i dont have a monitor so i see more from my crosshair and not from the enemys you cant help me with that
im ascendant 1 and recently played on an iron account and i needed only 2 games match mvps to get out and double rank up to bronze 2. If u deserved it, you would be out! try relying less on your team in iron because most of the time all you need to have in iron till gold / maybe even platinum is a better game sense than the other players. The account is now on plat 3 btw, using SHERRIF ONLY lol

Lmaooo holy shit, I was kinda wondering tbh

2:08 2:38 3:31 top it off with a deathmatch to practice, 30 min a day
warmup - 1 death match, range wth sheriff, vandal, marshal and op

Focusing on your grades is actually a bigger waste than Valorant lol no company will care about your grades I promise you.
I don't even get a match queuing for a deathmatch
What's the point of getting ranks in games?
People with low self esteem think a virtual rank will make them feel better.
Besides the skills you get from playing the games, having goals to achieve is usually good, since it makes people want to learn and become better
