2008 lmm duramax lifted/tuned/and front rebuild

2008 duramax front end rebuilt with kryptonite ucas and balljoints , rc lift and tierods, psc power steering pump, blue top steering box, dmax store idler and pitman arm, american force 24x14s and 35x13.50r24 amps.

I have a 2008 lmm and also the on the same boat everything was shot up front just got the front end done as well did RC tie-rods , KSP upper control arms , new wheel bearings and new lower control arms. Replaced the Hydroboost last night with a 2011+ lml Hydroboost since my stock was leaking, I recommend that upgrade for sure makes the brakes feel better gets rid of the spongy brake feel , doing the PSC power steering soon and PSC power steering hoses ordered them last night, going to do the steering box too maybe redhead steering box ..truck has 295k on odo previous owner did zero maintenance everything was shot lol also installed FASS lift pump 165gph that woke it up 💯 got a lot of work on the truck got new wheels in a box waiting to get new tires getting all the maintenance done first then slap the new wheel and tire after. Nice truck man I guess we like to buy used and abused shit and bring it back to life lol

Sounds like you are in the right direction to having a fine ride, the duramax is a great ride, the front end just require reoccurring maintenance, even with good parts. This was actually totaled a week after I don't all this 🙃 guy ran a stop sighn and hit us and flip us, so all that money was wasted on this one.

why did you switch from kyrptonite to RC tie rods? how are they working out?

They look super beefy, just wanted to give em a shot, didn't have em long enough to know how they'll hold up, I just done my 14 with em also so I can do a proper review on em.

@Robert Urias I use alot of kryptonite products, excellent products and warranty.... to me best in the business. I like to try different products to make reviews, alot of people only go off of he said she said, i like to actually try stuff and make reviews. I only use kryptonite balljoints and control arms.

Well it is totaled now, but it rode fine for a lifted truck, your prolly hitting the upper bumpstops. I have a 14 now lifted similar setup, it rides good also. Never gonna be good as stock, also depends on how much your tbars are up over stock settings
