@RaulioG88 I know it's off by roughly 150-200. Idle is set at 850and its around 1-1100 at idle by the cluster. It's been rebuilt,so it prolly wasnt put back exact.

Not too worried about out running anyone, just a toy.

@jraiello as long as you don't expect it to drive like a stock truck, and have a good tuner, and decent gearing, it's drives and does good. It depends on your expectations also. The 6.2 and 5.3 uses the same convertor in the 6 speed. And yes I did loose about 1-2 mpg depending on driving habits. I tell people all the time, there's always a smoother cam, and more manners. Just depends on what your ultimate end goal is. Good luck with whatever route you go.

@lpx5g266 gears are always the best bang for the buck. I would definitely go to 410s. If they made a 430 for my rear dif that's what would be in mine. My blue 2wd gas 430s, it's a but much gear for it, but I made it for around town.

Alright i do have a 6l80e, and stock 32 tires but might upgrade to 33s later. Cool man just didnt know if 4.10s would be overkill or if 3.73 wouldnt make much of a difference

@puresmoke8667 ive done more exhaust than most has seen lol. There's clearly a reason it's like that. It's lowered, with axle flip and c notch, I tried to run it over the rear like normal, but with 3 inch and the trucks load on it and any lil bump on the road it would hit, so this was really the only alternative. Trust me, it's not my first choice, but given how the truck is setup, the only choice, and I stated that in the video. Most trucks that are flipped and notched, normally have turn downs before the axle.

@Slik-rik87 I was watching the video with no sound after watching again. I see why, but it just doesn't look good to me. And it seems like u would scrape it on stuff driving around if not super careful. I don't run exhaust on trucks I run exhaust or sports cars it's way different and I only do it for my cars and friends cars.

Why not dump it after the muffler? Was it to keep the cool looking exhaust tips/exit which I love by the way.

@wavegod5130 I personally don't like the exhaust dumped under the trucks, that's just my personal opinion, and yea, I wanted to be able to cut them through the roll pan. Something a lil different in my area.

@Slik-rik87 had to weld another plate on support for top a arms. Almost pulled the bolt hole out of it.

My tops were still good, only ones I've had issues with to this day is the sides..... but the outers can be done from outside with slide out, and inners with slide partially out from inside

Exhaust exit on rear is normally different , comes straight single out the back factory. Cylinder head numbers also, 4.8 ,5.3 came with 799/243 heads 6.0 /6.2 came with 0821,5364, 823. L9h 6.2 only came in 09-13 also. 07-08 denali came with early model 6.2 equipped with afm components.

@@Slik-rik87 alright thanks, yeah I’m looking only at the 09-13 trying to find one closer to stock with the 6.2. Just looking at pictures from the exterior alone hard to tell a difference lol especially on marketplace. But thanks for your help I’ll look for the tailpipe difference

@natemcgowan5416 my first one years ago I called about, the guy told me it was a 5.3, but the exhaust said different lol, he was states away. I had him pop the hood and Gove ne the head casting numbers, and guess what, it was a 6.2. I got there and told him, he said I thought it seemed to have alot of power lol

@@Slik-rik87 that’s awesome. Honestly kind of what I thought might be the case… a couple people on marketplace not even knowing they’ve even got one lol. So basically the biggest key to look for (on a stock truck) by pictures is if the tailpipe is more straight out the back like the 2500s instead of the more 90 degree bend like the regular 5.3s and 4.8s have. And then from there verify with casting numbers.

The chopacabra is basically same cam , just from texas speed, I'm actually building a 4.8 with that cam right now for my old 93 f150 doing a swap in it.

I've changed the idle around a few times. I believe it was around 875 here. No cats

Best it averages now is around 12, maybe 13 if you stay around 65. Lost around 2mpg

Sounds like you are in the right direction to having a fine ride, the duramax is a great ride, the front end just require reoccurring maintenance, even with good parts. This was actually totaled a week after I don't all this 🙃 guy ran a stop sighn and hit us and flip us, so all that money was wasted on this one.

When you do portals on these they come with the kit for the rears, you can get em from satv, or catvos sells em also a lil cheaper.
