Quite extreme endless & steep boulder fields you've gone through. Love those chamois, great rock climbers. Excellent video Christina. Cheers! "Hiking Nature's Beauty "
Wow! Super amazing! The rock scrambles were just crazy! Loved all the animals and love that no matter how hard you’ve been working and how exhausted you must be, you always make time to greet them! Some of the scenery here reminded me so much of the movie Heidi. You’re a SuperStar! Oh, let’s not forget the return of SNOW on this leg of the journey. Thanks so much for going thru the extra effort of filming this all for us and sharing those vids. You totally rock!!!
There was a huge storm a few years ago that really destroyed the valley you were in at rhe beginning of the videos. Hence why there was deviation ans this devastation scenery in the river nest.
It was a tough hike, for sure! I don’t remember now this day being particularly tougher than the others, but my memory is horrible! Have a great weekend, Phil! 🥰✌🏼
To me, that did not look like a good stretch of trail. So many rocks, boulders, and steep cliffs on the sides of the trail. I think that part might have been stressful and demoralizing to me and I would really want it to move on to something else. There was still a lot of beautiful scenery though so that would certainly help at least a little. Enjoy yourself of the next stretch and kudos to you for conquering this challenging trail. See you on the next one.
There were way more “this would never be allowed in Canada!” sections and moments on this trail than on the GR10 last summer. But it was all worth it. Crazy beautiful views. Thanks for watching this series. I don’t know why this series has such low views, except that maybe, they are so numerous. Who knows!? It doesn’t matter. I had the time of my life! 🥰✌🏼
This was extremely difficult scrambling in extreme terrain. Regarding your worries on the deviation and you getting lost sometimes - did you not use the French topoguides? The maps are much more detailed than Cicerone, they show also other GRs, and they have a lot of information on refuges, campings, shops, and so on.
The topoguides available from www.ffrandonnee.fr/ are very expensive for me to purchase from Canada so I am stuck with just the Cicerone guide. However, many hikers that I meet, who are from Europe, have them, and I can usually get advice from them. The deviation is not on those maps, though. Thanks for watching and commenting, Carel! Have a wonderful weekend! 🥰✌🏼

I’ve never seen that movie. I bet the scenery in it is fantastic. I wonder where I could find it… 🤔
@@Womaninthewoods13 I was just a kid when I saw it….its gotta be out there somewhere
❤
That was a crazy hiking day, with some horrifying scrambling over rocky terrain. Glad you made it safely.
I love “horrifying scrambles,” haha! Thanks for the concern, my friend. Have a wonderful weekend, Linda! 🥰

Yes, it looked like it was pretty devastating. And it’s taking quite a while to recover. I hope nobody was hurt in the storm!
Wow, you picked a crazy trail! This seems rougher than any of the GR5. Breathtaking views though. Very cool.

Those rocks are terrible! I cannot imagine a worse trail.
Well, that’s a petty negative spin on a section that I absolutely loved! The technical parts and scrambling are my favourite. 🤷🏻♀️
