- The GR5 is an approximately 700-kilometre long hiking trail including 40 000 meters of ascent and traversing the heart of the French Alps from Lac Léman (aka Lake Geneva) in the north of France to the Mediterranean Sea in the south. It is one of the world’s most spectacular hiking trails. I will solo hike this trail over several weeks.

This was an exceptionally beautiful and interesting stretch of the trail. I really enjoyed the variety of the trails and terrain and the very interesting buildings and structures along the way. Very inspiring for me. You are handling the trail like a champ Christina. I am sure that you are savoring each step and challenge that you face and are storing lots of memories to make you able to reflect on this winter and on into the quiet moments in the future. Thanks for your efforts to include us on this amazing adventure, it is greatly appreciated. Definitely see you on the next one.
I was wondering if there were sheep dogs in there with all those sheep. I'm glad you showed that. Another great video. Are you tired of all the gorgeous scenery yet? Does it ever get old? Cheers!
