Because I love Rod Stewart's Forever Young so much, for Christmas one year my mother had someone write out the lyrics surrounded by pictures of animals with their young.

Thank you for another brilliant upload. I find 1988 a bit of a hit and miss year. When there's good, there's good but when there's bad there's bad. However there are some little gems in this lineup. Interestingly, Mandela was released two years after that re-released. That's a young Heather Small in Hot House. I do prefer 'Finetime' to 'The Only Way Is Up'. What happened to Yazz? I know she found G-d and moved to Spain, but nothing since. I do prefer 'Find My Love' to 'Perfect'. Also prefer Kylie's version of 'Locomotion' over the original!
My favourite is 'Love Bites' by Def Leopard wonderful rock ballad and should have been higher than 11th. My other favourites are 'You Came' by the wonderful Kim Wilde, the wonderful Guinean classic 'Yeke Yeke' by Mory Kante, floor filler 'Teardrops' by Womack and Womack and the romantic 'Hands To Heaven' by Breathe.
"Ye Ke, Ye Ke" by Mory Kante - the best song here. It's one of my all time favourite songs now. + a wonderful early appearance from Heather Small on the Hot House song. Heather would go on to provide re-recorded vocals on Black Box's "Ride on Time" (after the Loleatta Holloway sample was blocked) and then of course become an absolute diva in M People.
The Go Betweens song is really good 😊

Hi everyone, can somebody please help me finding a song I've been looking for years?
In 2022 I've seen a short clip of the music video somewhere in this channel (at least I remember that way) when watching old Top 100 videos, about 1990s (1994/95, 96 or 1999 probably?), unfortunately they're deleted/hidden now. If I remember correctly, that was about #99 or so. A man sang the midtempo song, the chorus of it went sort of like 'the sky of night I wonder why' or 'the fly of night I wonder why'. I always misheard the lyrics, anyway every time I heard the song, the chorus reminded me of sunny day. Can't help singing the tune out tbh, but if I'd hear it somewhere, I definitely recognize it from the first notes.
I would be so much grateful if someone'd post at least 91-100 places of the 90s there, I would try to find the song myself from the list. Big thanks in advance! peace everyone
