Trump is correct on the fundamentals. 1) we need to bring back and rebuild our manufacturing and industrial base 2) we need to be energy self-sufficient 3) we need strong borders. Immigration is a race to the bottom.
Trump also fought for us, didn't blame factories closing on globalization, but on bad trade deals, bad policies. It was a uphill battle, because wallstreet is addicting to off shoring. But at least he fought it.
@@norwegianzound lol, you, sir, are a bad influence. Well, I watched it and it was considerably more nuanced than I had anticipated. You will never see that event truthfully. You have a mental block on seeing any of that single day of no fires where the only one who got shot was a protester as anything but the most terrifying event of your life.
"Insurrection"? Not a single person has been charge with "Insurrection" to date. I'm sure you want to believe an insurrection occurred, but it just isn't so.
@@merlepatterson That's because 'insurrection' is not the name of the crime? But if you really want to believe that nobody has been charged for participating in that particular incident, then I'm sure nobody will ever be able to convince you otherwise anyway, so please don't feel pressured to reply to anyone you disagree with.
Hmm, I think your last sentence is 'you' not allowing anyone else an opinion of which you don't agree with, and doesn't pertain to what the guy you answered spoke to.
Dude he wanted you to succeed but you chose the path of being angry enough that you lost an election to allow yourself to be screwed out of a future. Now you’re paying three times as much for gas and other random things like eggs and stuff and you still think you did the right thing.
I’m sure these academic intellectuals really asked this question in good faith. I’ll give a few reasons why we voted for Trump. 1. He seemed to be a results oriented person, not a discuss around a problem and fundraise to discuss a solution person. He seemed to care about results in regard to illegal immigration which liberal states are starting to wake up to in a minor way. He wanted lower taxes for people so they would have more pocket money, as opposed to leftist politicians who wanted higher minimum wage so they could tax a greater sum for themselves. He was for financial freedom, freedom of speech, and general liberty as exemplified during the pandemic. During which politicians enforced mandates while Trump was telling people it was up to their own personal choice to stay home or not. In 2019 Trumps economy was doing amazingly. Everyone was doing great financially while Democrats rioted and painted a picture of America being some dark days of endless evil. Until the pandemic when everyone was forced against their will to stay home and not work for two years, the country was doing better under Trump than under any president in thirty years, Clinton, Bush, or Obama. Trump’s legacy is that period. 2019 was when America put its own future and well being first, as any sovereign nation should. It was when America was becoming great again. Many of us haven’t forgotten this and will put forth the true history until my last breath. He was the greatest president in the last fifty years and I’ll vote for him again because of that.
Utter rot 😂 Ignorant people went for the “tv guy” to thumb their nose at centrist greed and what they viewed as “elitism”. The democrats twice sabotaged true change in favor of more of the same and apathy was as high as it ever was for the candidates they wobbled on and eventually fronted in the past two elections. If only Bernie had run as an independent the dems would have been forced to make a deal instead of pulling the dirty tricks they did to oust him. Now we vote against candidates rather than for anyone and fear of instability on the world stage reigns supreme in the minds of any knowledgeable voter (15%) as sadly it should. Any “economic gains” conservatives take credit for are simply inherited after they (repeatedly) run the economy aground and leave democrats to clean up the mess and stabilize it. Our goose is cooked and the true and capable leaders are being replaced with chaotic incapables with no actual skills nor any shame for their unethical (in some cases illegal) conduct. This two party system is dangerous and beyond rotten.
@@Prodmullefc for example "economy did better under trump than any pres in 30 years, Clinton" US was doing so well under Clinton and the fed defecit falling so fast institutional pension investors were in trouble as there weren't enough safe gov bonds to invest in. A better question would be “who would vote that failed to that year and who would change their vote if they had voted for him?” I am quite sure a lot of people would have gone to the polls if they had thought he would end up winning. This is the problem with anyone that is running and deemed a “shoe-in”. Being distasteful as Clinton was didn’t help but no sane thinking person believed he could win because he was such a bad joke. Joke was on us! Thank god people showed up out of fear to vote against however we need a candidate we can choose for what they bring to the table not to stop an idiot from destabilizing the world stage.
