I really like the 501, got lucky when I bought mine the fit and finish was great. But I did buy a 500 that same year which had the same bounce-out issue you were talking about. I ended up keeping the knife for my collection, but bought a second one with good fit that I carry quite often. Thanks for the channel update, buddy!

I would take a little bit of Flitz to the bolsters and blade on that and clean it up and dab a little bit of mineral oil on the stag to make sure they are conditioned and don't end up cracking. That knife is sweet and pretty hard to come by one of those. Wait until you clean it up and it will really be fantastic after that

Great video brother!! I know where you are coming from and family/work has to come first. We can't raise the family we want to be successful from just sitting on YT all day long and just pushing out content to make some pennies. I will be turning my monetization off as well, if i can do it, because it's not worth the extra tax issues it causes. As far as people just poaching the GAW's that is a tried and true correct observation. If you want to be a knife collector it's easy-get a job, make some $$, and after you have all your obligations taken care of then pick up some blades here and there...

Its all good..not everyone has the time or wants to put in the time for social media. Fortunately "i guess" I have a lot of time. So doing videos is something i enjoy. Its not for everyone. Back in 2016/2017 i thought about how big my channel i could be and potentially make money and spread good positive content. BUT not long after I thought "who cares"..I do this for fun. I do this because I like to share my life. I dont have much going on in my everyday life so its my outlet. Even if i get monetized ill never get money because im always going to have copyright music. IF I was able to make hundreds, thousands a month? Well things might change a bit. BUT Ill always stay true to myself and just sharing my content money or not..Have a good night Boston and do what you can when you can IF you want..

I agree with you... I watched this video of yours maybe a month or so ago... and it's been sitting on the back of my mind. I am so tired of the youtube reviewers just getting freebies... and that increases the cost of the product for the rest of us... just to provide a good review of a product. Things are becoming very skewed on here and it's a bit frustrating to listen. Too many went from honest hobbyist to "professional" reviewer... and it's like WTF! And sometimes it's like... they do it just to get the high end fancy shit for free... and I saw this years ago in the Archery circuit and still do.... there not much honesty in it...
