Amigo. Es que la entrada de corriente no es el centro en ese tipo de interruptor..es uno de los costado. Para que cuando cierres encienda el neon que esta conectado internamente en las patillas del centro.
You still can use this switch for DC appliances no issue,it just a matter of switch body light you wouldn't have only.so just use it if you don't have DC switch.
Yes,it can be use for two power supply because this switch is basically one body two terminal control.but if you use with 2 power supply switch neon light can not be used. So it is not recommended to use for 2 power supply.

The LED is always ON that way... If you wire the other way round it only lights when you switch ON the button and the bulb.
When you say wire the other way, which wires should change?
