Alligator Plant

I purchased one tiny Alligator Plant many years ago from a local church plant sale for about $2.00. This has been the worst purchase I ever made. That one tiny plant was in a pot on my front porch, which grew and now has resulted in hundreds if not thousands of more plants that has taken over the front of my home. They die each winter and come back every spring. I have pulled them, yet they still come back each year. I has a beautiful reddish to purple flower, but it is a very invasive plant.

That is why it is so important to only plant indigenous plants for the area you live in. Unfortunately you brought invasive aligator weed. It is extreamly invasive. I'm surprised that it would be sold in a store. Look up its history. Good luck!!
