Interesting that it starts off with logic gates using triodes. Could be wrong, but I think modern books would jump straight to transistor gates since vacuum tubes are all but obsolete for digital computing.
Great video. I'll check this one out, did not know about Hans' book. Another astounding old-school book on digital computers is M. Morris Mano's book, Digital Logic and Computer Design.
Can you suggest Graph theory, differential geometry and measure theory books which are best for beginners? I am going to have these papers in my upcoming semester. I am well acquainted with general topology and abstract algebra
At least for my school digital design and computer architecture are separate classes now, but not to those details as I remember. I would say at least Master level
These are taught in Computer engineering and Embedded Systems. Typically known nowadays as "Computer Organization and Digital design".
Im reading Mythical Man Month, and this sort of thing is always alluded to. Makes you appreciate the modern environment we get to work in today.

But seriously love the book reviews! I can’t resist sniffing a book either 😂
Interesting. That author was the adjunct professor in my home state.
I wish I were immortal so that I will have read all the books you are talking about:)
these type of books are somewhere between electronics and computer science.

Many of these topics are taught in first year undergraduate Computer science course. I am in first year. Later I guess all topics get covered
Thank you so much for your content
Do you have a real analysis course on Udemy?
Why is Springer red? It makes no sense!!!!
