That’s kind of you to say, Mark! I’ll sure continue to make these vids when I visit places with a lot of interesting sights, but Lakewood Ranch doesn’t have much in the way of history/interesting places, so I’d have to move somewhere else to start a business (or charge ridiculous prices so I can fly all over)! 🤔 I like the ridiculous prices idea! 😂
Awesome video Matt! Running is definitely a great way to see a city. most memorable runs I’ve done have been NYC and London, just taking it easy and enjoying the sights! Looks like you had a great holiday 👍

Hi Matt, I'm back after dealing with a anterior shin splint injury after my sub 3 marathon attempt, I got it with 3 mins to spare but my shin didn't see it that way after I stopped but now I'm building the running back up after near and month of cycling and swimming. Your video is great timing, I'm racing the Barcelona Marathon this March for my first official marathon and for my 18 birthday so hopefully I'll be able to pick out some of the sights you talked about while running through the city.

In hindsight I probably should have filmed breakfast just to make the resolution complete! It’s hard not to be in and out of the alleys at all times; it’s such a beautiful city!
Running is an amazing way to see a city when visiting! I enjoyed that, Matt. I know so little about Spain so it's great to learn any little bit more about its history and culture.

Honestly I will probably never be in Barcelona, but it looks nice. 🤷♂️. My running day recap is 10 miles slow paced using the Asics Nimbus 23. Felt great after the run!
I love hills! They're a blast for every single second I'm not running them! 🤣 I was a little out of control coming down at times, which was also loads of fun!
@@its_Matt_B_ yeah, running to explore on holidays is brilliant. It is both enjoyable and really useful. I use it to work out what the kids will actually be able to walk to! 🤣 Running early mornings when everything is quiet is an opportunity to see a place and people from a completely different perspective too.
My Spanish is terrible, despite taking it in college. I can't really say how much it's needed because my wife is fluent! However, it is a huge tourist destination, so I'm quite sure you'd be fine not knowing a word of Spanish!

@@jeffdover6845 I like it a lot and I wear it as my daily watch most days, however during my testing I’ve found it consistently measures a little less than all my other watches. Perhaps it’s measuring the correct distance and everything else is wrong, but for that reason I don’t wear it to measure my runs very often.
