This game is light years ahead of every other game on the market, even with the bugs. The immersion you can experience whilst playing SC is genuinely unmatchable in the genre. I just hope that CIG keep improving it.

How did I get into Star Citizen....looking back on it now I don't HONESTLY know how in the hell I came to the decision of throwing $250 at a space game when I NEVER liked space games. However it happened and I am SO glad that I did it. Back in 2013 this game was a hope and a dream with a couple cool videos. Over the years I've "invested" a lot more time and money and the play experience has been good and VERY bad. I think all that struggle bussing is about to pay off though. Love the chill video....these are my kind of gamers that I enjoy playing the game with!

Personal fav is the Olympia Paint (i think thats what it was called) that was sold in concept as the E1's companion paint. Black with Gold highlights, looks fantastic!
I grew up watching Star Wars, Firefly, and a little Star Trek. When I started seeing trailers for Star Citizen and even playing some of the really buggy early versions (like only one space station early) I immediately felt that atmosphere of exploration and wonder that made me want to keep coming back
You're really a special class of player - the player who doesn't need a story, doesn't need a mission, doesn't need anything to do. As long as they exist somewhere, and there is a pipe to pick up and look at, its one of the best games they've ever played XD. On some level I do admire that and on other levels I am glad I have "different" standards lets say :P. But I'm glad you enjoy it. Personally though I would want more out of a game than just...landing on the moon. Walking on the moon. Shooting on the moon :P. Even if its beautiful. I really care about story, interaction, some form of role playing and a reason to care long-term about alliances and things like that, which aren't just made up by the player in their own imaginations.
Love the story videos but this one is cool too. FYI you can always buy a paint for this ship then just melt it later and put it towards something else when the zeus comes. Kind of like renting the paint while you have the rental ship!
"She's the coolest ship in the verse" While I can understand your love for the corsair, I will remain a Avenger Titan enjoyer. Shes got the rule of cool, a bed, decent cargo space, and is so fast in the black, you'll lose anyone before they can finish locking you up!
I think this content is excellent as a balance to your other videos! Perhaps you could pick out some questions from the previous "Sunday video", and answer them while doing QT travel or when the gameplay lulls naturally?
3:20 OMG mind blown ! Did NOT know about typing in how much you want to split. I often buy big stacks of stuff and then split off as required to ship but it was always hitting the triangle button like 20 times haha. Thanks, will save me a lot of time !
Anyone whos struggling with not being able to get this game to run: First the normal stuff, turn graphic settings to medium or high, everything except for shadows, turn those all the way down, turn planet volumetric clouds off, no motion blur, chromatic abberation off, you can mess around with the graphics a bit, this is not neccessarily true for EVERY setup, some may run with these settings on, some may needs them turned down even more, some may be able to play with higher settings. Now, the golden part. How to get rid of the abysmal stuttering? I couldnt figure that one out for 3 years. Im now on a 4090 and Core i9, both watercooled, and i wasnt gonna let this game despise my new setup so i started trying stuff. What worked was the following: Restart your pc, spam the delete button on your keyboard while its starting up, that way you will get into BIOS. In Bios, go to advanced, open the second drop down menu (i believe it was called something with CPU), scroll down once opened and find "Active Efficient Cores" - turn it to 0. It sounds dumb. I didnt believe it. It was my last resort due to me being scared of messing around in BIOS. The game has been running completely stutter-free ever since. Only issues i have now are game or server oriented issues, the game itself is running as smooth as it could. Now there are people who dont recommend this, as E cores are very helpful in boosting performance if im not wrong, but ive not noticed ANY change in any other game i play, its like nothings changed except for the stuttering.

U forgot, if U wanted some cool helmets, after taking out the cutlas at the caterpillar wreck, to pick up those helmets the pilot and turret gunner ware! I Always do that when taking out the cutlas at derelicts! the whole suit is actually quite cool, the red/green and the black helmet. It really does feel like this game has a nighttime bias, like every time I log in on a planet it's moments after the sun just went down, and every destination I go to is in the dark perpetually. I can't get to a place while the sun is just rising or it's at least in the middle of the day.

I bought the C1 the minute it came available over a year ago. I fly it all the time a live it. It flies like a much smaller ship. The Zeus will not fly the same! You might well find hi want both. I have the ES Explorer version.
Some days this game is just beautiful and relaxing and a zen experience. And some days you try to run Siege of Orison. I've got to say, Crusader ships are my absolute favorite looking. They don't know if they come out with something like the Carrack, then I'm dumping the Millennium Manatee for it.

I upgraded my cutty black pledge to the C1, and i do not regret it. the C1 is a fantastic ship. I would like the A1, however the pledge price is a bit high for me personally. I prefer the armament over the cargo space, however the C1 is a great ship and any cutty pilots should give it a try.
Interesting video to view. It's good to watch how other people play Star Citizen and learn a trick here and there that I didn't know yet. Regarding the cave: I've entered two caves so far, and the first time I got lost in one where I couldn't find the exit anymore, and the second time I got stuck in a place where I couldn't climb out of. There was a ledge with the yellow paint, but when I tried to climb up there my head kept bumping against a rock so I couldn't get up there. A question I'm wondering about is: what exactly happens in the point of view of a bystander who looks at your ship when you lie in your bed and log off (while landed near an outpost)? I assume the ship remains there and doesn't just disappear. But... what if you go from the main menu to log in again right away, and you 'wake up' again on another server. You are still in your ship, but on a different server and that bystander is not there. What happened to your ship from his point of view? Is a copy of it still there on 'his' server or did it disappear from that server the moment you woke up in your bed on another server?
What I have observed is that the cutlass is not invincible, but the rear ramp does not pass damage onto the rest of the ship. So you need to try to aim for the engine pods or something. And they are very tanky.
I've tried liking this game multiple, multiple times over the years. I still can't get used to the low FPS. Once they figure out the performance, I think I'll enjoy the game more.
I originally bought into SC in 2019 to see what it was all about, but I was an all-in Elite: Dangerous fan at the time and SC was kinda hard to figure out for me and I didn't vibe with it. When Elite languished through sparse updates, lack of developer communication, and the ultimate disappointment that was the Odyssey expansion, I tried Star Citizen again. This time I found and joined an Org, and it made all the difference. They host a lot of in game activities and helped me get a feel for the way SC worked, and I began to realise that SC was the space game I had always wanted, and delivered all the things that Elite had promised but failed to achive. I Havent looked back since.

C1 owner, also in possession of a C1 to Zeus CL upgrade, but with how much I love the C1 it's probably going unused. But I also got a $5 upgrade from MISC Razor to Zeus CL for that exact scenario lol. I already bought paint for the C1....
I got starter pack a bout a year ago and tried it a bit. Then left it but came back again couple of months ago. Now I finally found a way of how I want to play it. Started solo mining and slowly building up cash while also making sure to enjoy the game for its visuals. Next I want to try and rent a Cutlass and a ROC.

I can't wait for the Zeus. Hardest thing will be slow speed. Haven't figured out how to overcome that but there is a chance Master Mode might be out by then and everything will be different.
Personally I love all the ships in SC. Well... I don't care for the 100 series to be honest, but I recognize that they have their place within the verse. I just hope that I'll see the day when more variety of industrial ships come to the verse as well.
Hey, i got the C1 also as loaner for the Zeus but i love the ship for illegal cargo runs or as a daily driver where you maybe want to pick up some stuff here and there. I like also that a Cyclone fits in there for bunker runs with a small group (max 3 with the Cyclone AA). I am really thinking about when the Zeus is released to pledge myself a C1 and i am normally a friend of the 600i as daily but somtimes its a little to big for some stuff ^^

My C1 is my Go To ship! Love it ❤ I use it for so much! Might not win many PvP fights with half-way skilled fighters, too slow but will kick your ass if you're less skilled or even skilled and I catch you slipping up! Great ship, more than happy with it. I will say, CIG needs to fix it's hangar issue though. I do NOT love take-offs from an Arrow sized vertical hangar! Beautiful ship, with some dents here and there. lol

I’m loving my c1 loaner for the Zeus but they did actually recently change the MR loaner from the a1 to the cutty blue which hurt me a bit since I have a bad relationship with the cutty series since using them when I first started playing.

I wish I could get into star citizen but each time I've tried it I have had a catastrophic bug just get rid of my entire earnings I managed to make in one go. A very famous one is my ship deciding to, instead of going around the planet, warp straight into the planet. All my money gone in 1 go.
I still love the spirit C1/A1, even though they lied and baited us with nice cargo and dimensions figures then literally doubled the size after we paid for the ducking things. I mighta bought the Zeus if they had actually been first but if it's slower or less agile than the spirit bricks, it'll drive me nuts. I already feel like they shorted the spirit c1 in SCM.

Regarding the cave: I've entered two caves so far, and the first time I got lost in one where I couldn't find the exit anymore, and the second time I got stuck in a place where I couldn't climb out of. There was a ledge with the yellow paint, but when I tried to climb up there my head kept bumping against a rock so I couldn't get up there.
A question I'm wondering about is: what exactly happens in the point of view of a bystander who looks at your ship when you lie in your bed and log off (while landed near an outpost)? I assume the ship remains there and doesn't just disappear. But... what if you go from the main menu to log in again right away, and you 'wake up' again on another server. You are still in your ship, but on a different server and that bystander is not there. What happened to your ship from his point of view? Is a copy of it still there on 'his' server or did it disappear from that server the moment you woke up in your bed on another server?
They de-spawn after some time
What I have observed is that the cutlass is not invincible, but the rear ramp does not pass damage onto the rest of the ship. So you need to try to aim for the engine pods or something. And they are very tanky.

it has taken over my life too - in my opinion and as a dedicated lifelong gamer - Star Citizen is the best game I have ever played.
I've tried liking this game multiple, multiple times over the years. I still can't get used to the low FPS. Once they figure out the performance, I think I'll enjoy the game more.
I originally bought into SC in 2019 to see what it was all about, but I was an all-in Elite: Dangerous fan at the time and SC was kinda hard to figure out for me and I didn't vibe with it. When Elite languished through sparse updates, lack of developer communication, and the ultimate disappointment that was the Odyssey expansion, I tried Star Citizen again. This time I found and joined an Org, and it made all the difference. They host a lot of in game activities and helped me get a feel for the way SC worked, and I began to realise that SC was the space game I had always wanted, and delivered all the things that Elite had promised but failed to achive. I Havent looked back since.

C1 owner, also in possession of a C1 to Zeus CL upgrade, but with how much I love the C1 it's probably going unused. But I also got a $5 upgrade from MISC Razor to Zeus CL for that exact scenario lol. I already bought paint for the C1....

I got starter pack a bout a year ago and tried it a bit. Then left it but came back again couple of months ago. Now I finally found a way of how I want to play it. Started solo mining and slowly building up cash while also making sure to enjoy the game for its visuals. Next I want to try and rent a Cutlass and a ROC.
the corrsair is the coolest pirate ship. the actual coolest ship for me is the f8 lightning

If you turn your weapon systems offline, those 2 upper guns stow away making for a sleeker look on the c1
I can't wait for the Zeus. Hardest thing will be slow speed. Haven't figured out how to overcome that but there is a chance Master Mode might be out by then and everything will be different.
Personally I love all the ships in SC.
Well... I don't care for the 100 series to be honest, but I recognize that they have their place within the verse. I just hope that I'll see the day when more variety of industrial ships come to the verse as well.

Hey, i got the C1 also as loaner for the Zeus but i love the ship for illegal cargo runs or as a daily driver where you maybe want to pick up some stuff here and there. I like also that a Cyclone fits in there for bunker runs with a small group (max 3 with the Cyclone AA). I am really thinking about when the Zeus is released to pledge myself a C1 and i am normally a friend of the 600i as daily but somtimes its a little to big for some stuff ^^
I have a Odyssey, which gives me a Carrack as a loaner but i still fly the C1 as my main ship cause i just love it.
Shame the bunkers have been broken for so long, November, December 2023 and now we are approaching Feb 2024.... bunkers still borked!

My C1 is my Go To ship! Love it ❤ I use it for so much! Might not win many PvP fights with half-way skilled fighters, too slow but will kick your ass if you're less skilled or even skilled and I catch you slipping up! Great ship, more than happy with it. I will say, CIG needs to fix it's hangar issue though. I do NOT love take-offs from an Arrow sized vertical hangar! Beautiful ship, with some dents here and there. lol
the C1 is a good daily, but just because you said the word, yes, I cannot wait for my Perseus lol among a few others. mostly that one though.

I’m loving my c1 loaner for the Zeus but they did actually recently change the MR loaner from the a1 to the cutty blue which hurt me a bit since I have a bad relationship with the cutty series since using them when I first started playing.

Put 2x panthers and 2x DR Model XJ3s on the C1, and you can do bounties up to VHRTs pretty easily.
With Squadron 42 now feature complete, the devs that were working on it will now focus on bringing Squadron 42 features to #StarCitizen. Expect to see lots of cool and awesome features getting added in 2024.
I wish I could get into star citizen but each time I've tried it I have had a catastrophic bug just get rid of my entire earnings I managed to make in one go. A very famous one is my ship deciding to, instead of going around the planet, warp straight into the planet. All my money gone in 1 go.

I still love the spirit C1/A1, even though they lied and baited us with nice cargo and dimensions figures then literally doubled the size after we paid for the ducking things.
I mighta bought the Zeus if they had actually been first but if it's slower or less agile than the spirit bricks, it'll drive me nuts. I already feel like they shorted the spirit c1 in SCM.
