ditto from me. The music is not bad but it does prevent the viewer from hearing what its actually like on deck. I think music is overused in videos and movies. Sometimes the moment is best experienced with silence or natural sounds only.
When I was in the Navy many years ago I was on the USS Midway and hit a monster wave that made the carrier roll 26 degrees, it was during a typhoon near the Philippines in 1988.
Sitting tied to a dock they seem so incredibly strong, with all that steel. But get them in some big waves and that can be some frightening stuff. My hats off to the guys that make sure cargo and fuels get where they need to go.
Great video showing the pitching and rolling of this huge vessel in the Atlantic ocean. This is not even a storm on the north Atlantic ocean these are only big waves.
Awesome video. The sight of the deep blue foamy North Sea heaving like that literally scared the living daylights out of me 😱 - and I’m sure I’m guaranteed nightmares tonight. The worlds oceans scare the (bleep) out of me. Being out in space isn’t scary. THIS is freaking scary. Anyone who sails in this is a brave person who has my utmost respect….😔
Biggest surf board ever... And how about that rogue wave at 2:57 that's visible between that gap, then gone a second later other side's view. That wave was way taller than the deck and other waves for a brief moment it was there.
I loved this. I could watch / listen to hours of this. All you need to make it perfect is a) a Rycote furry wind guard for your mic and b) enough time to record several hours uninterrupted (maybe a Gorillapod tripod to attach to a railing or something). It would be great 'sleep white noise' (which is good 'business' on TH-cam). Not kidding - there are people like me who would watch (and listen) to hours of sounds / views on the open sea like this with the huge engines thrumming away in the depths. It doesn't need music, as others have said. I was born in Trinidad in the early 1960s and my mother took us back & forth to England on old tankers (her family were Texaco employees I think). After that, I lived in Falmouth in England next to the sea and the port - open oceans, ships etc so the smell of diesel and the rise and fall of the sea has always been in my blood. Seriously, you could monetise a LOAD of the environments & views on that ship by making 'sleep' videos alongside your regular work. Subbed because I want to see / hear more from your travels!
I couldn't make sense of this many views. That's why what you said made perfect sense. Yes, you're right. I can do this job more professionally. Thank you very much for your advice.
Sailed across the 7 seas never a day goes by when I don’t think about being on a ship going to different ports and places. 44 years still going strong I❤️the 🌊🌊& being a 👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳
Not that bad, a mill pond. How was water formed? and so much of it. Take one cup out & the level changes all round the planet & of course it's so minute we can't comprehend it but it still goes down.
The sea is a beautiful color, good waves. Sunny weather. Everything is fine . But, for me, the presence of music takes away the feeling of real immersion in the atmosphere of the sea passage
How the hell do sailboats make it across the ocean? Or ships like the Mayflower? It blows my mind --- it seems that is was such a huge risk in the 1600s.
Great video, nice music on the background. I am working in the port of Amsterdam on a bulk terminal. Whe discharging this seaships Now see i the way to the next port over the ocean. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
20-30ft ski boats popular on the lakes and rivers of the us hinterlands wouldnt last 5min out there. Even mid sized center consoles probably wouldn’t fare well. This is big boat waves
The 'music' is absolutely inappropriate, spoiled a very good and engrossing video. I had to turn the sound right off which meant I lost the sound of the waves against the ship. Hugely disappointing and so unnecessary.
Great video, but it would be better if no muzak.
ditto from me. The music is not bad but it does prevent the viewer from hearing what its actually like on deck. I think music is overused in videos and movies. Sometimes the moment is best experienced with silence or natural sounds only.
Nice footage, but the music kind of distracts from that! I'd rather hear just the sound of the waves!
Nice Atlantic video!
Could be a lot better if just with the wind, ocean and ship sounds. IMHO
Seeing it on a small screen, recorded from the deck of a large vessel, will never really convey how big those waves are. Beautiful footage!
I experienced vertigo several times during this video...thank-you for a real ride!
Don't need the music
I agree
What huge waves? A fair wind in summer from the back! I've crossed the North Atlantic several times in winter, from Norway to New Foundland.
Wonderful video.. I can't imagine what it was like on the early explorer's sailing vessels.. without all the modern equipment that this ship has..
The Titanic found out back in 1912.
why the music? such amazing waves noise but why the music???
You sound like a fun guy.
Hard to judge the size of the waves being on such a huge ship and being up high. I love this stuff!!!
it is big, bigger than any viral inlet on youtube
Keep in mind - even with such large waves - this is calm weather for the North Atlantic. It can get far worse in storm conditions.
Thanks again for these great videos.
When I was in the Navy many years ago I was on the USS Midway and hit a monster wave that made the carrier roll 26 degrees, it was during a typhoon near the Philippines in 1988.
Imagine the poor buggers in your escorts.
True story
Outstanding videography! It’s worth watching several times. The music was not needed.
I can't believe how deep blue that water looks.
Sitting tied to a dock they seem so incredibly strong, with all that steel. But get them in some big waves and that can be some frightening stuff. My hats off to the guys that make sure cargo and fuels get where they need to go.
A following sea. I wonder what your speed over ground was. Very beautiful video thank you. Be safe respect sent. 👏
This is beauty of nature, colors of water is amazing ❣️❤️❣️💕
The North Atlantic is a beautiful beast 😍 Intense rogue waves seen here and no storm.

It was a great experience 😍 🌊
You displayed so beautifully 👏👏
Thanks a lot ❤
Very good and amazing, this video; in my opinioni It would be better and better without music.
The colors!!!!!!!!!!
Idk why am i more interested in sea and ships nowadays 😂
Sailed across the 7 seas never a day goes by when I don’t think about being on a ship going to different ports and places. 44 years still going strong I❤️the 🌊🌊& being a 👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳
My heart is running very fast and I am very excited thank you soooooo much sir for this video

Oh God, what an amazing second world, where do I live?
Gudluck sir, have a safe trip....
Great video, bigger M/v bulk carrier
I fell like needing a lifejacket, just by watching!
These are good videos. You should make more of this 👍
Can I swim there?
Are serious you can swim there 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bulk carrier very nice seeling

Thank your for your bravery Sam!
My breath stops.
thank you very much.
...very nice video....
Scientists tell us there are planets in the Universe that have oceans that are over 70 MILES deep!!! It would be amazing to fly a drone over that!
which phone do you shoot this video very cline
Nice visual
Wow 😲 the sea looks awesome loved
the part at the stern of the ship would
love to have been on board. Thanks
Wow nice amazing
C est beau! Fresh air is nice. Merci beaucoup !
Great video, nice music on the background.
I am working in the port of Amsterdam on a bulk terminal. Whe discharging this seaships

Respected brother please accept my deepest gratitude for uploading such a Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful video
Wow amazing video
Thank you very much for this perfect video ♡
Which phone do yo shoot this vlogs
But where are the HUGE waves? It's not a rough day until you're taking green water over the bow.
Pure joy to watch the ocean, Thanks!
It's a MUCH smoother ride in a boomer at 250 feet. Not much sunlight, tho.
Super video
Nice and clean
seeing wind and waves like this makes me want to just grab my windsurfer and jump in lol
A very good video, but please drop the music and allow the natural sounds through. If I want to listen to music, I’ll switch on a radio.
I can tell you from experience those aren't huge waves. Those are moderate seas.
I'd much rather just have the sound of the waves......music is everyday stuff.
Those waves are so high it looks like the freeboard of that ship is no more than 10 feet
OH my God. Amazing video. Be safe
Just because you CAN add a soundtrack doesn’t mean you SHOULD add a soundtrack.
Waw enak nya mancing dsitu
20-30ft ski boats popular on the lakes and rivers of the us hinterlands wouldnt last 5min out there. Even mid sized center consoles probably wouldn’t fare well. This is big boat waves
Amazing video, how you keep the recording device level is mind blowing. You feel every roll 🤢
Nice!
The helmsman is handling the vessel very well in the difficult conditions
Hes called Autopilot!🤭
@@ceciliacicchinelli4797 Do you think so? I thought that in those conditions, the helmsman would take over.
it’s all about Iron Mike - unless maneuvering, he’s in charge
Super
I make the taller of the waves about 6 to 8 metres. Interesting how the ship hardly rolls even with that following sea.
Love the color of the water !
The camera never does justice to the wave height
Wow I love that color of blue!
Interesting, all the life ring holders seem to be empty.
Now is the perfect time to eat hot dogs with sauerkraut and warm chocolate milk.
Can you do a shot down a long corridor under heavy seas? Would love to see some HD footage of these big ships flexing.
Wow it so nice to see that kind of scenery
I'm butterfly swimming here.
😂
The 'music' is absolutely inappropriate, spoiled a very good and engrossing video. I had to turn the sound right off which meant I lost the sound of the waves against the ship. Hugely disappointing and so unnecessary.
Hermoso video dichosos los que Trabajan en los barcos 🚢 y ver los amaneceres todos los días
Wheel, it seems you have no idea how the huge waves of Atlantic ocean looks like.
No music is required
So beautyfull !
Kya nzara hai bhai ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
my dream is see this ocean just one more time you are lucky bro
Красивый цвет океана!
Nice
Without music it would be great.
Some great shots of the sea there, but what’s with the music?!
You can't imagine how much water there must be in the universe. How is that supposed to come from a big bang?
Can you show how the meals are prepared and served? Also I see it's very windy in this video and I am wondering if that's a cold wind or is it warm?
Great scenery. Wish there was no music
Okyanus çok etkileyici
This is the most beauty of nature that God has created .adorable and also scary i can't even imagine to see from near..this bigest ocean..
Had to mute that music, but man that’s unbelievable.
груженый панамакс прет по атлантике..завораживает))
Cool video
