@@uncletacosupreme7023 hell once every blue moon here in the southeast United States we do get storms just like this one bcuz I remember back in my High School days in the mid or late 90s we had a storm just like that one that came through our area here in South Carolina causing some serious damage so serious everybody thought it was a tornado but it wasn't it was straight line winds up to 80+ mph or greater and we were on lockdown at the school bcuz of the storm and the damage it caused

Nice to see a good thunderstorm that far north. I scouted and intercepted one that looked just like this in Eastern Kansas early this summer. It too had warnings for winds to 60 MPH.
It's incredible, i believe that happend on june 12th 2023, it was sunny and very hot like 33°c, then at 4p.m, it was dark, and i knew irt was a shlef arcus cloud, and at 5 p.m it was more darker, then at 6 p.m there was a really loud thunder and it's was raining , i don't know if it was moderate or hard :) .
Shelf clouds (the whale´s mouth), Asperatus clouds and Mammatus clouds are the most creepy pasta inspired clouds because of their odd and ghostly like looking that they inspire.
Wow, that is one mean looking storm. I like to study such. Here on the east coast US we don t see storms like that. Hurricanes yes. I don t know what people would think if something like that rolled in. Thanks so much for sharing.

Do you know the Passacaglia and Fugue in C moll by J.S. Bach BWV 582? That's a powerful piece, also. Maybe could you use part of it for storm videos? Just curious.
Hi, thanks! That is a bad screenshot of a lightning strike. Im not sure about using organ music in my storm vides, even though they could work and there are great pieces. Finlandia could surely work, but i dont know about the 582.

You're lucky you were OK! 💙 Don't listen to anyone who says, "It was just a xx". There's no reason to take dumb risks, and strong fronts like these can turn very nasty. We had a very bad derecho earlier this year, that blew up out of nowhere so nobody was prepared. It spawned numerous tornadoes and people died. Weather should always be respected.
It wasn't a tournado storm, it was a severe thunderstorm, when The shelf cloud is really dark ,it means the severe thunderstorm will start after a few seconds, and when it's raining hard ,then it's starting to be light, it's means that the thunderstorm will end :) .

Indeed. But this storm was not as dangerous as it mightve seemed- basically just wind and water- no hail, tornades or powerful ground lightning.
