    An omnipotent being can do all things, no matter what it is. It can be anything. They could create a rock that can and can't be lifted at the same time. We can't comprehend omnipotence because it can do anything it wants, literally.

      Omnipotence is a human word, it's imposible to coprehend because it's a nonsense created by ourselves.

      The show actually implies that God can not be omnipotent unless it's part of the system it created and follows the same laws as its creation. Why is so? If God's omnipotent then it can judge itself as well but to do that it must include itself into the system it created. If that's all true then WE CAN COMPREHEND GOD by using the same Universal logic it created and uses.

      In simple terms yes, but only in the form of elitist filth that herds us like sheep. Otherwise, the answer is either that the being who planted the seed and left is *our God* or that *our God* exists on another plane entirely. Both answers face an issue once you realize that the *"true God"* was inevitably created by another and that the question cannot be answered. Eventually one has no choice but to conclude that the *"true God"* is a collective. If one of noteworthy intellect looks into the matter further, they may obtain a mindset abstract enough to consider the *paradox itself* as the *true God.* A "fractal singularity" that contains and embodies an infinite amount of finites simultaneously including finites from the past, "present" or future including the time theoretically *before* its own inception, becoming omnipresent beyond further description.
      And to those who wasted a few seconds reading a theoretical answer to an unsolvable question, those seconds are gone now. They are not coming back. I think. Don't look into that. Please.

    People in the comments complain about the paradox stating that an omnipotent being can go beyond logic. If so: "can an omnipotent being create a rock so heavy that he can't lift it using the logic of this world?" If it can't - or if it can - it'is still not omnipotent.
    And again: can an omnipotent being create a world where the absence of evil cohexists with free will? If it can, why do evil exists?

    • @didles123
      @didles123 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      An omnipotent being doesn't need to be able to do things which are logically inconsistent. If an omnipotent being is capable of doing all logically consistent things, then there is nothing wrong about calling the being omnipotent.

    • @baltoy7460
      @baltoy7460 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@didles123 So the omnipotent being is limited by logical absolutes? Why? Who created logical absolutes? Couldn't the omnipotent being create a world with different logical absolutes where free will can cohexist with the absence of evil?

    • @didles123
      @didles123 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@baltoy7460 I didn't say am omnipotent being is necessarily limited by logical absolutes. I'm saying that if it had such limitations, it would still be reasonable to call it omnipotent.
      What is unreasonable is to demand that an omnipotent being be able to do logically inconsistent things and then demand that it be logically consistent. If an omnipotent being must be logically inconsistent, then you don't get to apply logic to it.

    • @baltoy7460
      @baltoy7460 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@didles123 Why? If an omnipotent being can't do logical inconsistent things remaining logical consistent, it means it can't do something! I know that's absurde... but that's the point!

    • @didles123
      @didles123 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@baltoy7460 I get that it is absurd, but the origin of the absurdity is not innate to the notion of omnipotence itself.
      For example, even if an omnipotent being is capable of logically inconsistent things, this is not in and of itself absurd. What is absurd is the guy who is applying logic to this being.

    another solution to the paradox, is if the perfect being created both a rock that cannot be lifted and a rock that can simultaneously, this way both can be done by said being

    • @Masterbaiter1000
      @Masterbaiter1000 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      not almighty.

      Thot Slayer the solution made in said video is the same as mine, its not necessarily perfect, for 3rd dimension beings can never find the answer, but it does offer a solution, for like what I said both actions can be performed thus make the being capable, yet the flaw remains for logic destroys both my claim and the video's claim

      You are a human, and until facts are shown you are still a human who must abide by the logic of humans. and because of that theories cannot be accepted until proven correctly, specifically those outside humans standards, it is true, they cannot abide by our logic but they must also prove to us that they have somekind of logic. Theories at time do end up as facts. But to question something with even more theories will only lead to more questions. One must question a theory with fact and certainty if that person wants to end that said theory.

    The entire question is a joke to begin with. Heaviness and lightness apply to our realities, how can we even infer that heaviness even applies to God? In response to such a question I would ask, can god create something so light it cannot be held? Would these standards even apply to God? If it did I would not think he's omnipotent if the very laws he created are the same laws that bind him.

    • @renatodefreitas7937
      @renatodefreitas7937 6 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      It's a matter of logic. Omnipotence indicates you can do anything, period. Even if heaviness doens't apply normaly to the divinity, if he is omnipotent he should be able to make it apply to himself. Saying that "it doens't affect him" is just evading the question. It's what omnipotence is all about: If you want to do something, you do. And that's where the paradox comes in: If you can put a limit on you that even you can't surpass, you're not omnipotent, as you have a limit. If you can surpass what you imposed to yourself, you're not omnipotent either because you're unable to limit yourself - and that's something you can't do. Therefore, Paradox always arrive for "true" omnipotence, if you don't want a paradox, you have to accept "logical" omnipotence: you can do anything.... As long as that doens't make you unable to do something else.

    • @TheLandOfTears
      @TheLandOfTears 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That doesn't make sense... and I will explain why. Heaviness is a concept which arose from our perceptible world that exists in time and space, it is hence the result of causality that occurs to the understanding mind through various causes.
      Our minds can only make sense of things through perception and nothing else, the proof of this is your imagination, for example, if I told you to imagine something that's never been imagined before, you would perhaps imagine something along the lines of an octopus with an alligators feet, the wings of a pelican and the body of a rock, now this isn't something new that you imagined, but all of these things you've derived from the perceptible world and combined.
      So going by this, how can our minds conceptualize the infinite which is god as to what it can and cannot do? in the 19th century 4 mathematicians tried to find the answer to infinity 2 of them went insane the other 2 committed suicide, Galileo also tried to penetrate the infinite but realized the attempt was futile and gave it up and advised others to do so as well.
      So this begs the question, how can you with your limited mind that only understands through cause and effects which are also limitations can possibly question the infinite?

    • @sunwukong32
      @sunwukong32 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheCrappyZipper the paradox proves nothing except the limitations of language and imagination.
      1. Omnipotence is having power over all things.
      2. Failing to lift a rock is not an action in itself, but an inability to perform an action (limitation).
      3. Your inability to conceive something has no bearing over that thing's existence.
