im three years late, but I think the part the club had an issue with was a) tina shooting sam down after she'd already accepted b)doing it in front of everyone and c)only doing it because he wasn't a nominee. Sam did complain about taking her, and though Im not about to pretend I know anytthing about proms, I'd imagine taking a friend to senior year prom is a wee bit dissapointing. But even then, sam complained to blaine, he didn't get up in front of the glee club to say how much he'd wanted to take an actual date to the prom

Secondly, how dare they cut in the middle of a Beatles song. It was bad enough that they cut out the scream at the start of the song, but we didn't even get to half way through the song. Seriously, we've only had 1 or 2 Beatles songs in this show before this season and I don't think we have that many more after the first 2 episodes of that season, but out of all the song they could've cut half way or even quarter way through they cut a Beatles song? I haven't been this shocked since I discovered this guy I took a German course with had never heard of Aretha Franklin.

Besides, you lost her because you were more interested in playing Halo than in talking to her and you lost Britney because you called her stupid, you're not the one to talk about what's cool or not. Times like this I find it hard to like Sam and Artie, the most since season 4 when they both acted like it was cool that Ryan was touched by his babysitter when he was 11. I just really hate it when people in this show do horrible things and don't get called out for it. And that's including the director for having the audacity to cut in the middle of a Beatles song.

I'm not saying she wasn't being bossy and rude in this scene, I'm just saying that Sam and Artie were also being rude and that Sam has no right to complain when he didn't even want to take her in the first place. And that a lot of the time, though I like Artie, he's often a terrible boyfriend. I'll admit it though, it might all be because I still have a hard time forgiving them for when Ryder confessed to them about his babysitter molesting him when he was 11 and them acting like it was a cool thing, in that scene they were both more unlikeable than Tina ever was.
