Curious if anyone here has tried copy trading. What was your experience? I’m relatively new to trading and i am looking study some good traders and copy their open trades rather than investing myself and lose money emotionally.
To be 100% honest with you. I had the same question 5years ago, I was confused as heck. Now copying other traders for over 3years now. Would like to tell you YES copy trading is a good approach, you just had to keep in mind that the success in copying another trader lies in their transparency.
Yes! Personally I copy trades of a U.S regulated professional trader name 'Sir Courtney H. Williams' on my own trading account, and at the end of the month I give him a percentage from the profits he makes for me as agreed upon while i get increase exposure on how he navigates the market.

I find Support and Resistance levels on a 15 minute chart and take the trades on a 1 minute chart.

That's why if it breaks out you must wait for a retest of the former support now resistance. If it rejects that again you can go short

I hear ya. It's hard sometimes to jump on the setup when it feels to early. It's counter intuitive to reversal trade.
H&S right shoulder is also usually below the left - a good indication too

All the studying of patterns and volume……you can do and backtesting you preform sometimes occams razor needs to be remembered.
It's about smart money grabbing shares so they can buy or sell for a profit...creating liquidity stopping out retailers. Head and shoulder patterns same thing breaking below to fool shorts then going higher. Once u see where they're doing this trading gets simpler

So when entering a play do you buy while the candlestick is forming or alwaus enter right after it forms? And let’s say you buy at support, I assume you set your stop right under support. But how do you handle fake outs thag break, trigger your stop and then go in the direction you want? Do you get back in after the fake out?
I wait till the candlestick finishes forming.
Yes I put my stop below the support.
If it does a failed breakout and knocks me out I do look to get in. Sometimes you are just to early which sucks but if you can see an opportunity to get in on a swing it's still worth the risk. If the market is just choppy and knocks me out again on the 2nd attempt then I just sit things out because the market obviously isn't in a good condition for swings or i'm not reading it right.
@@RileyColeman thanks Riley! You are one of the best teachers I’ve run across. I’ve been at this for 2 years and still struggling with entry. Only the last year with futures. I’ve been doing mostly funded challenges. Failed a lot but have passed twice only to fail again. I constantly get caught in fast action and I’ll average down but then it just goes against me. I need to get better at setting my stops. I just always seem to get stopped out. Especially since I scalp quick moves, usually within the first 1 min. But your videos have been helping a lot!
Took me 3 years to realize all it is is a battle for a trend.. it's either trending up, trending down, or its in a trading range period

I'm curious maybe someone could answer, the movement on his chart is pretty quick is that something to do with my refresh rate? Ive tried trading at certain times but still get the same slow movement even on the minute chart.
Ive stated to dabble in the s&p 500 to get the same results as it does in his videos but still very slow.

Riley, why I don´t see margin in this video. You start in positive amount immediately. In my case when I buy or sell. I am in negative and loosing , money even if trend goes in my favorite. So if i do same as you in same time (video 10:00) I will break even only somewhere at 3962. In your case you already earn something like 156$
Use of fibs should confirm retracement.

Do you get the setups everyday with your strategy?
No. You would get more if you watched more markets but just watching the ES I do not. Some days are nothing some are multiple.
When I enter after retest it goes for another re-retest and hit my stop loss.
When trading with fractals, should trader flip charts, 15M, 1H,4H,D1, all at once & see where support & resistance IS as shown by fractals on each frame--and if if it fits close to top/bottom of daily ADR, take that trade. Now 15M fractal level may not be robust(strength wise) enough--but 1H fractal is because to form 1H fractal, market could not penetrate THAT LEVEL IN 5 CANDLES WHICH IS 5 HOURS--and that is lot of data(strength).AND fractal on 1H chart is not just one man talking but line (support/resistance) drawn by millions of traders in those 5 hours. Just act on 1H fractal--and trade be in the direction of 4H/daily trend. And your wisdom ?
what chart time frame to use ?
I use a 15 minute chart for finding support and resistance then a 1 minute chart to enter into the trade.
