The Desert Elephants of the Hoanib River in Namibia.

We had the fortune to spend a few days with several of the different groups of desert elephants in the Hoanib River bed. At no time were we threatened or worried. They were relaxed around us and continued what they were doing. At one point their curiosity was aroused and they approached us, but we backed off into the vehicle again. We hope none of these special elephants are up for the 170 hunting permits released. Apologies for one piece of video that somehow repeated itself!
