The filmmakers have done an amazing job highlighting the incredible biodiversity of Yellowstone National Park! From the powerful grey wolves to the mighty grizzlies, it’s like a glimpse into one of nature’s last true wildernesses.🥰
Absolutely breathtaking! Yellowstone, the pioneer of national parks globally, never ceases to amaze with its vast landscapes and vibrant wildlife, all perched atop a sleeping giant of a volcano. This video captures the essence of its unparalleled beauty perfectly. What a precious gem we have in Yellowstone!
Absolutely breathtaking visuals and narration. The way this documentary captures the raw beauty and harsh realities of Yellowstone’s wildlife is simply mesmerizing.
I worked in YNP for a summer and visited a few times after, it’s a beautiful and magical place sitting on a 6,500 ft. geothermal plateau, you must visit and get in the backcountry if even just for short hikes, bring your bear whistle, and avoid the evermore obnoxious crowds by going in late august to mid-september
winter is even more exciting, but much of the Park is closed then, if the roads are too deep with snow....I lived and worked there in the 70s and 80s...winter was great...so beautiful....
this video is absolutely stunning! the way it captures the beauty of wildlife in Yellowstone is so mesmerizing. however, i can't help but wonder if the increased tourism in the park is actually putting too much stress on the local ecosystems. it’s a tough balance between sharing these amazing experiences and protecting the wildlife we love. what do you all think?
Nature protection should be prioritized more since nature and it's animals exist much before us Humans and don't cause as much harm as we do to nature.
Too many Asian tourists. Every year one or two of them get ☠️ or seriously injured because they think you can walk up to within twenty feet of a bison or elk at no risk. Brainless wonders
I wonder if many Americans know Yellowstone was repopulated with Canadian grey wolves after the wolf population had been killed off in the US? They were considered a threat to people and livestock. The park ecosystem drastically improved when the wolves were back controlling the overpopulated deer and elk herds.
"No!" Is always the answer to "I wonder if Americans know..." Americans are really dumb and spoiled. Most Americans don't even know the three branches of government or what H2O is.
wow, Yellowstone is truly beautiful, thanks to the camera team and narrator team we get to see that example of beauty! i wonder if any game designing team will be inspired to make a game based on Yellowstone!
I am so glad to finally hear "winter is their time". Also quick question: in the first parts of the documentary there is a small group of cow elk--I thought they always roamed as herds? Does their structure change over the year? :>
I live outside of Yellowstone... animals do not starve when there's a fire... they simply migrate to another part of the park.... duh. They run from the fire and don't go back to the burned areas after the fire. Yellowstone is the most beautiful place I've ever been out of 48 states.
There is a FANTASTIC documentary on TH-cam called "Lords of nature" that really goes into how the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone effected the ecology of the area in a positive way. It's one of the best docs I have ever seen.
Yellowstone is such a magical place! 🌍 Established as the world’s first national park back in 1872, this amazing landscape stretches over 3,500 square miles and sits right on top of a supervolcano-how cool is that? 🌋 With adorable bison, majestic grizzly bears, and the powerful wolves, Yellowstone is a wild wonderland full of life! And did you know it’s also home to half of the world’s geysers? 🌈 Thanks to BBC Earth for always bringing the wonders of nature to our screens with such love and beauty! 🐻🌲💚
Nice video, but it was interrupted every four or five minutes by an advertisement. Isn't that a bit excessive!? How many times do I need to say I'm not interested?
Thank You Defenders of Wildlife, Canadian agencies (for their wolves since ours were killed to extinction), and the Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt, and Mollie Beattie from the U.S. Division of Fish and Wildlife, and of course Yellowstone National Park for bringing back the wolves where they belong!
After seeing the the fragility of life out in the wild with all these predators and the incredibly harsh climate, for some reason I lost it when he said out of apparently no where come the big horn sheep who live in the toughest climate and seemingly fight each other for pleasure as opposed to survival is wildddd lmaooo
The supervolcano beneath Yellowstone has erupted three times in the last 2.1 million years, with the most recent major eruption occurring about 640,000 years ago. While scientists do not believe an eruption is imminent, ongoing monitoring keeps track of temperature changes, ground deformation, and seismic activity in case any signals of increased activity emerge.
It's all about the passion and efforts that goes behind every single shot. I am totally speechless
Experiencing this wildlife documentary feels like venturing into the heart of nature
This wild animal documentary makes me appreciate animals even more
They are delicious
The antlers sticking out of the river when the wolves have the elk trapped is GNARLY
Yep . I seen that right quick lol.

Our camera team is so talented 👏
There are paved roads throughout the park. True wilderness is the something like the Bob Marshal wilderness
Watching this wild animal documentary feels like exploring the wild
It really doesnt

I love how the raven 🐦⬛ was just hanging out with them, like, 'Eh, maybe I'll join in next time!' 😅
I loved the close ups of the ravens too. I imagined them as the wise animals. A longer view of time. Less urgency.
Wolves are just facinating
Thank you indeed for the film. I enjoyed it very much. Such an amazing wildlife. Thank you BBC❤😊

Otters' voracious appetite is always impressive! Regardless, no obesity! Amazing!

4:16 wolf and raven chilling together?
The raven follows predators like that . The know they kill to eat and will be food to scavenge .
@ that’s smart. I wonder if the wolf gets any benefit from the raven or if it’s one sided. 🤔

How can they eat the animals?
Wow no bears?
Why didn’t the Elk just go out the other side of the river? Didn’t look like they were on that side
