Now a days we don't even see a single ALCO in our area. All trains are either hauled by WAP7, WAP5 , WAP4 or WDP4 , WDP4D. Missing the ALCO days😔😔😔😔and also missing the chugging
I always see alco Loco's in my areas because there is no electric wiring to run electric loco I see wdp4d some rare Loco's also I don't know there name
Twin alcos are a treat to watch ❤🤘. Awesome compilation. The leading loco of rajkot coimbatore express erode 11451 wdm 3d. I saw this loco take shape and coming to life in parel diesel loco workshop, mumbai. The SKD kits are brought from dlw and other vendors at parel and locos are assembled. This loco was manufactured in july 2013. I was an college intern at the loco workshop that time. It's nostalgic how the loco was cranked for the 1st time. Your video brought back old memories. Thanks 👍.
@menon sanjeev 😂😂you look like an moron to me,making electricity is as bad as burning diesel, railways depends upon coal for the production of electricity which produces pollution while being produced, and you can go and even check that producing electricity by coal is much more dangerous than producing it by diesel. You just can't see smoke coming out of electric engines and think that they're pollution free 👏👏👏
Incidentally these two smoking Pune beaus are passing their last few months of mainline activity as Pune Wadi line is already electrified except for 12 Km between Bhale to Hotgi Jn with wiring almost finished there also. Our Tiruchirapalli GOC green Alcos sadly are idling on pit lines or running few passenger trains or meagre diesel line section.
I can't describe the joy I find in these videos; words fail me. Even my family thinks I'm crazy for spending the whole day watching videos of Indian railways. I long for those bygone golden days and the diesel engines.
I LOVE THIS ENGINE .....ITS CHUGGING SOUND & HEAVY SMOKE......MADE THI SPECIAL ....ITS ALWAYS LOOKS AGGRESIVE .....💝💝💝💝💝💝💝. MY DREAM IS TO RUN THIS TYPE OF ENGINE 😘😘😘😘😘
The chugging of alcos with Coimbatore Rajkot express looks similar to veteran steam locos albeit a lot faster.Alcos are associated with the slogan 'We can pull any load, accelerate extremely fast and achieve breathtaking speeds.
The train at 0:36, I have a question. The windows have grills on them. How do the passengers get out if theres a fire, derailment, coaches fall into a river etc.? Its like a death trap. Why are they designed this way? Great video btw! The trains look great!
I have a suggestion for this.. Instead of saying missing old alcos.. I think the best thing would be these alcos need to be refurbished into locos drawing. Hydrogen fuel or bio diesel.. High speed of these alcos is more enjoyable tbh.
Impresionante y admirable son los FFCC de la India. Y el absoluto reinado Alco. Que increíble lo que caminan esas locomotoras. Do they often drive steam or diesel locomotives in India, and less often electric locomotives? Not so strange if India has so great problem with air pollution.
Our 75 % lines are electrictrified these are trains which run from some location which are not electrictrified to electrictrified section and to maintain punctuality railways run these long distance trains on diesel just to an appropriate location and availability of locomotives they are changed
And steam locomotive are long retired from service I guess from 1990s nearly all steam locomotive were out of service and by 2010 our 60 % lines were electrictrified and the railways will be electrictrified completely by 2024 and we in india are trying to cherish the sweet memories of our childhood because they will not be visible in the near future
Railways in India is crazy awesome! Always had it's own mighty style. I Like it. India is fantastic- cheers from Slovakia
