I took my 14 yr old son to this show! We flew in from Texas…It was a hell of a show with the best Metallica set list I’ve ever heard!!! My son said it was the best concert he’s ever been too!!! Thanks for sharing this recording, it’s awesome to relive that night!!!! #Tallica
Wow! I'm 14 as well, I flew from Hawaii and this was my first concert, I went wit my family. The setlist was pretty much all I had on my playlist! I was so worried I wouldn't know one or two of the songs. My parents went to a concert in Australia in around 1993 I think, and they said this one was way better. Looking back at the show just makes me still so excited!!

We then got to see them in Buffalo on 8/11!!! Another great show! These guys never disappoint!!! Been a fan for 32 years… and I will ALWAYS pay the money to see them! Here’s hoping we got another 15 years with them!!!

Omg I love you Metallica ! In their 50s and still rocking it. Ii think the you sounded better at this concert than when I saw them live in 92! That's impressive ! Just amazing.
question? how many people filmed this for you cause I've noticed a few different angles thru out the show lol also what did you use to record with? the sound is perfect. sounds like it was straight from the stages soundboard mix lol great video thanks man.
WHAT THE HECK?!? Kirk without using wahwah 99% of the time in every solo?!? Did he practice in secret and wanted to show off that he still can do it? lol... I like it
They sound great ! i havent seen them since the reload tour in cardiff uk and they were awesomme then. Have to go and see them in uk when they come over.
This concert was 35 years in the making for me. Bucket list item for sure. On my late mother's first birthday since she passed and during the warm up act my legs went numb and had pins and needles so bad I was almost escorted by police to an ambulance. I just needed to lay down to relieve the pain from my pinched nerve from a bulging disk. and was crying for the hotel bed. I am very grateful that this video exists because I spent a fortune going to Vegas from San Jose and getting floor tickets. I see now how the floor looked and there is no way I could even come close to standing amongst that crowd. Regret is a wicked bastard. I knew all the words too.
Cool concert. You should have seen them in their early days. The Sunset Strip (Hollywood) was the place to be in the 80's. Back then, Metallica was just another band opening for other bands that had a following. I went to a few of these shows not to see Metallica but the other bands, but ended up seeing Metallica as the opening act. August 4, 1982 Whiskey a Go Go, Los Angeles, CA (supporting Steeler and Sound Barrier), August 18, 1982 The Troubador, Los Angeles, CA (supporting Ratt), November 25, 1982 Troubador, Los Angeles, CA (supporting Pandemonium and Malice) Then somewhere around that time they got a record deal. The last time I saw Metallica was May 24, 1988 at the Troubadour they came on after all of the local bands played as a secret gig called "Frayed Ends" warming up for Monsters of Rock tour. They came on at midnight and played for 2 hours. Metallica was so loud that my ears rang for 2 days.
Ty will weems for the video metallica is so much better even they are the best band today i saw metallica 2 times so this is great i wanted to go see this but timing was bad but hey ty again keep up the good job bro.
Don't know why people spend the entire concert looking at a cell phone screen. It takes away far too much from the actual experience. You're still there and can hear the music, but you're distracted and focused on something else, while definitely takes away from the show.
Hopefully they play Whiplash as intro again in Hockenheim / Germany at June 24th 🤘🏻🤘🏻 but Hardwired is kicking ass, too 🤘🏻 Last time I saw them at August 2019 at their Worldwired-Tour in Munich, before James went to rehab again…
This was my first Metallica concert, and my first concert ever. Proud to say I was there
Espero por eles em🇵🇹 em Julho pela quarta vez🤘💎

Such great quality that I actually feel like I'm in the audience even though I wasn't pyscially there.
The house mix must have been great and the recording device, sounds nearly like soundboard quality.
