they don't explain that you can turn off shadows or weapon trails or elemental fx on melee. i don't really expect a game to explain visual settings. warframe has plenty of problems not explaining mechanics but visual settings? not a crime
Another frame i'd suggest for low progressed players is loki Max invis build and refill your energy before fighting Its not fast or efficient, but you are not gonna need to worry about that since the enemies wont fight back anyway as long as you are invis
Safety, consistency and comfort are more important than efficiency whenever you're not trying to min/max a long farm, especially cause you may save time on prep, so I definitely second this. Another great consideration is consolidation, if you get Wisp, she can do a ton for you across the game AND support others whenever you're not just relying on yourself, she even comes with a bit of a dmg boost for the lich. Wisp Prime is coming up, so I've got a feeling a lot of new players who manage to farm her early are gonna REALLY appreciate her. There's few frames that will very comfortably solo most interceptions, for example, but with some nice mote teleports on a mostly open map, she's very well suited. Bonus tip: Put your motes in the air if there's nullies. Once you get the Helminth, she becomes even crazier with options like Roar or a grouping ability. I recommend Zephyr's, cause it's also a very nice crate breaker whenever you've got good range, doesn't require targeting, clears weak mobs (Stronger with sonar or molecular prime etc. going around) and is pretty flexible in general, easy frame to get and sacrifice too. Send out a ghost and then teleport for insane map coverage, duration works well if you don't kill in the likes of an interception, and the blinded enemies remain. And hey, why not another one: If you've got streamline and fleeting 1 or 2 from max, you can absolutely spam her ghost to stay invincible. Very nice if you wanna guarantee you can tank anything, I've got builds with zero defensive mods but both of these mods (fleeting 2 from max), ghost on my mousewheel so it's easy and comfy. It's quite a bit like playing a shield-gate setup, but with just two early mods you really want anyway, very cheap on endo/credits/capacity, and it'll let you tank anything right away.
Jumpy lich + indistinguishable marker + regen shields sounds like a great time for people who weren't so prepared. Tbf, it's fine to have to be prepared, good if you ask me, but I can sense the frustration at this less than ideal situation, that sense of ''I could make it if I had clarity and thus agency''
With railjack, especially grineer missions, If you are solo/everyone is on the Railjack, then all crews ships will spawn in front of the ship such that the RJ will not need to move in order to shoot htem with Forward Artillery. the exceptions are mostly only if the crewships spawn behind an object, or near an object they can move behind. My 5~6 min solo of lith/meso void storms strat- Take Lavos, when the level loads, go to pilot to adjust positioning so that the area in front of ship is generally clear of debris. go to Forward artillery and cast barrage to take out smaller ships. when crewships appear, take them out with forward artillery. if you run out of FA shots, and need mats for more, go to pilot and move around a little to pick up nearby mats (when stationary, ship will not vaccume most drops). when the only task left is to do the on foot portion is, fly ship to about 8km away, then use slingshot to get there (this keeps you from having to worry about boarders). while on foot, you should get enough void juice to open a void egg, but definitely keep an eye on it in case you go too fast. same strat works on neo and axi storms, but they have 2 targets to take out, which makes them take about 3~4 minutes longer. i've played around a bit wiht setting a crew member to pilot to take out fuel cells, but it's like 50-50 if htey can do it right. this strat alsow orks with corpus missions, but they ahve the second half of the mission and the ships wiht shields, and tend to just be in more crowded space zones. you can take out corpus hields iwht one of the guns, but i forget what it's called. it's a hold fire lightning beam.
yeah I finally downed my first lich from release to my surprise him to piss off to railjack saturn and requiring me to have rank 5 intrinsics... looking forward to the video while I progress my rj!
Having killed my first lvl 5 lich without zenurik, and before completing any story beyond the war within, I can advise that using a Rhino specter to distract them whilst piloting a mech can also get you through it. The fight in the kuva fortress was harder. EDIT: Does tagging the lich with a way point keep them marked if they teleport away? Might help with the tracking when trying to tell the icons apart
My second lich would teleport almost as often as this one. It was really annoying to headshot her because of this. I was also using Nezha after my first run because of that grab deleting me so frequently as anyone else.
Just got my kuva nukor lich to spawn, so pretty good timing. Of course I need to farm up requiem mods as I'm 10 liches in, but I guess that's a good problem to have?
i suggest octavia just slap duration and efficiency mods and energy siphon if you have it but it is not required just make sure to have energy before you fight the lich become invis aim for the head and start blasting your lich with the fulmin the reason for the fulmin is so that you wouldn't run out of ammo and it's silent edit: you can use first ability too for more damage but if your lich uses an aoe weapon like kuva zarr or bramma don't use it or you might get caught from the blast
But... you didn't say anything about the whole Requiem mod system and trying to figure out what symbols I need. Figuring out that whole thing is the whole part that's keeping me from doing my lich in the first place. It's still a thing right?
Where do you get the mods? Tell me , what new player has a maxed Tenno. Really if your going to make a new player guide, at least have a New character so you actually have a new player load out.
I was having a hard time with a level 5 kuva lich in the kuva fortress. It one shot my chorma and my rhino. So use ash invisibility and sniper it to death.
Next time you talk to Pablo ask him if after a nerf do players stop playing ,take a break or whatever,they must now these things ,do they retain players or loose players after a nerf?
My nukor lich had damage reflection abilities, let’s just say pain. Also sister with arca plasmor being able to 1 shot me with 99% damage reduction at lvl 4. Other than those two I’ve had no issues with them
yeah my lich kept 1 shotting me... made me ragequit 2 years ago. made me quit just now she has taken so much crap im sure its around 5 mill credits. and god knows how much resources. never get boosted on warframe. its detrimental.

Literally perfect timing. I have been struggling to get my sister from level 4-5 and I finally just got her to five. Hopefully I can get her down soon!
The lower the level your lich/sister is, the easier it is to do the confrontation. going higher level with them only lets them and the enemies be higher levels and tougher to kill.
@@hankyboy42594 ive had some people saying recently that you NEED to try to take the lich down any time they spawn regardless of your murmur status (you dont, if you're not ready you can just down them three times and they despawn), and even if you dont they still level up (they do not, they only level up if you guess wrong or entirely clear their territory). There's a surprising amount of misinformation about these guys despite them being out for so long.

On my first play through was on switch and one of my first weapons I had and used for a long time was the Atmos and will always have a warm spot in my heart. I'm thinking of making a steel path build for it. But I have much more stuff to do on the side I don't have any time 😭
Disagree. Nyx is MUCH better for lich hunting for noobs. She can go invulnerable, has decent CC and can completely strip the defenses of the lich. She is also easy to get and requires no forma for a decent build.
I considered this but Nyz relies on a fair amount of randomness and I didn't want the guide to basically include "wait for Phorid to show up" if you have here she's great here though
The last Litch I did didn't have a weak ness, but it was also resistant to corrosive so I used viral and it seemed to work pretty well, I think it's probably the nest best after corrosive if they have no weakness
Can you PLEASE, PLEASE, do a complete/ comprehensive guide on lichs? I hear SO MUCH conflicting info- Always use Corrosive on Kuva lichs unless they're immune vs. always use their weakness. If you don't stab them they level up anyway (definitely not true) and nobody else will have their lich spawn (definitely not always true), use weak weapons/ multishot/ viral/ slash/ melee, X/ Y/ Z ability works great vs. does nothing, etc... I really don't understand the damage reduction and what abilities work on Sisters vs. Kuva. What happens if you run out of mission nodes on Kuva fortress (level 5) because it doesn't spawn due to chance/ low anger/ failure??? Also, that's no where near as bad as it gets... I still have flashbacks of "Jack Burger" the level 5 teleporting, Kuva Zar welding, poison spreading, tank that took down no less than 3 full dedicated, high MR lich "hunting" squads- multiple times lol. Kuva Zarr goes bloop and everyone is bleeding out, or defense obj. is destroyed. Shoulda converted that one lol.
I have not begun converting a roster of Tier 5 liches/sisters so this may be hearsay. If you are looking for powerful helpers, it may be beneficial to bring the nemesis to Tier 5 to maximize their HP/SP/AP. Their weaponry will not take mods and use the base stats but anything with good AOE or an archgun (if possible) will make them very useful since like all other allied NPCs, they have perfect aim.
Could you please do this for sisters? I find them much harder to take down with normal weaponry. I'd love to do them with banshee prime + rubico prime but either I can't stay alive or they regenerate their shields back almost immediately after you stop shooting
i know its not the topic of the video but what would you recommend for a more advanced player for weapons? im looking for a primary/secondary and a melee that would do short work of liches/bosses/acolytes
I've never seen a lich use abilities considering I'm invisible at all times with my Ivara and Sahasa kubrow. I'd also say that the difficulty in getting Ivara is grossly exaggerated but then again I have 2-3 sets of the Xiphos and dozens upon dozens of Ivara sets, even still the Ivara drops don't seem that bad.
dude half the mods you showing are unobtainable by new players , let alone buying potatoes and catalysts you can only get a new player perspective by making a new account , not using an account with millions of credits and a bunch of plat
Well... my lich is lvl 5, the missions it appears in are lvl 90-100, and i run out of ammo for all weapons half way through the fight. Even with Phantasma prime and epitaph equipped and modded for the lichs weaknesses..whenever i try to melee it grabs me and does burst dmg plus a ton of dot no shirld gating no adaptaion no rolling guard is helping..Maybe the game or mechanics have changed since this vid was uploaded or i m missing a fundamental step my approach.. any ideas?
Lol and people told me that taking kuva lich out is one impossibility… I think maybe banshee build would be good on that too… Im im wrong, pla tell me😅 Im pretty new to the game. And also, if you use rubico instead of that sniper with eidolon build converted to what ever weakness it will have, does that do the trick?

This video couldn't have come at a better time. Im a returning player after not playing for a few years. I accidentally spawned one in and had no idea what to do, especially when there is little to no in game documentation or warning about it. It's crazy that the game allowed me to spawn it in without having a railjack or necramech. Anyways, thanks for the video, I will be following this guide!

Nezha, Nyx and Banshee are the most used frames to kill sisters and liches, what's wrong with using nezha considering she is way easier to use than banshee and way easier/less rng to obtain than Nyx

Ive made a video on all converted liches and sisters and liches have the most useless ability sets between the two, the electric lich's powers don't even hurt enemies. magnetic is pretty bad too as the magnetize bubble they have only lasts 2 seconds lol

Great guide now I'm gonna try and kill an electric rank 5 lich with teleport and no weaknesses that i've had for well over a year.
I just use ivara and go invis. They don't see you so you just stand there and shoot them. If you have good mods on your bow it'll kill them quickly
ivara aint easy for new players to get though

Don't Requiem Ultimatums AND Oull's come from both sending your Lich to Proxima and then defeating them? Thought it was like a 25% chance each time

I would suggest having Zenurik's second ability as well, even if it's only unlocked. It slows down the lich.

one of the happiest days in my WF tenure was when an Atomos riven dropped for me, allowing it to become competitive again beyond the Star Chart.

strip armor and shields with unaru?

i know its not the topic of the video but what would you recommend for a more advanced player for weapons? im looking for a primary/secondary and a melee that would do short work of liches/bosses/acolytes

I've never seen a lich use abilities considering I'm invisible at all times with my Ivara and Sahasa kubrow.
I'd also say that the difficulty in getting Ivara is grossly exaggerated but then again I have 2-3 sets of the Xiphos and dozens upon dozens of Ivara sets, even still the Ivara drops don't seem that bad.
dude half the mods you showing are unobtainable by new players , let alone buying potatoes and catalysts

Well... my lich is lvl 5, the missions it appears in are lvl 90-100, and i run out of ammo for all weapons half way through the fight.
Even with Phantasma prime and epitaph equipped and modded for the lichs weaknesses..whenever i try to melee it grabs me and does burst dmg plus a ton of dot no shirld gating no adaptaion no rolling guard is helping..Maybe the game or mechanics have changed since this vid was uploaded or i m missing a fundamental step my approach.. any ideas?

Lol and people told me that taking kuva lich out is one impossibility… I think maybe banshee build would be good on that too… Im im wrong, pla tell me😅 Im pretty new to the game. And also, if you use rubico instead of that sniper with eidolon build converted to what ever weakness it will have, does that do the trick?

One was mine, the other was a friend's lich.
Radiation or Viral but your damage type won't make much difference with no weakness and corrosive immune

This video couldn't have come at a better time. Im a returning player after not playing for a few years. I accidentally spawned one in and had no idea what to do, especially when there is little to no in game documentation or warning about it. It's crazy that the game allowed me to spawn it in without having a railjack or necramech. Anyways, thanks for the video, I will be following this guide!

Nezha, Nyx and Banshee are the most used frames to kill sisters and liches, what's wrong with using nezha considering she is way easier to use than banshee and way easier/less rng to obtain than Nyx
Would be nice if you maybe made a video about how converted liches are useless. Ive made a video on all converted liches and sisters and liches have the most useless ability sets between the two, the electric lich's powers don't even hurt enemies. magnetic is pretty bad too as the magnetize bubble they have only lasts 2 seconds lol
