Probably the first time I really enjoyed this piece. Loved it, got carried away by the slightly slower pace, expressing the emotion and making very accessible.
Wonderful performance. I just realized that Albéniz starts here with the upper register providing accompaniment with the lower presenting a melody. Then later it's switched to the more usual form.
technically impressive, feeling on the spot, romantic and mysterious as always, but lack of expressive qualities.Overall, I would congratulate her for succesive originality complemented on the song! Beautiful!
there must come a point where distinguishing between instruments is futile. Generally every instrument has its own character.. good points and not so good. When you are actually listening to the music played on them you are usually focusing on the tune and the way it is played... a fairly good instrument is all you need. Sorry folks :-/
