@@Mezigoto This could absolutely go off if executed well. Been waiting for an an online Cyber Frank Frazetta type game to really nail it, and this looks close.
@@Mezigoto Frank is absolutely goated and I still can't believe why there hasn't been a full blown Conan The Barbarian game experience. I mean... so much has been borrowed from the man already. Hard to market some of the darker elements maybe.. nice to meet yet another fan. Good luck with the channel.
I agree, but this stage of testing they are still in the pre-pre-alpha of their development cycle. Look at this being the E-Coat of a car, essentially getting the building blocks ready for everything to pull in easily. Think of it as the prototype phase where they get feedback from the community to continue iteration. They still have to add the primer. The in-between of prototyping and production. Essentially where most people would consider an alpha stage of the game. The basecoat, where they start producing the shape of the product. This is where art, assets, and content start to take more hold. And finally the clearcoat, the very final polish of the game(optimization, minor bug fixes, solid animations, and enhance visuals). The final product if you will.
I feel like the mechanic are similar to other games just differently presented.. I kinda want something different in a game no doubt. but Elden ring alone is a lot of content and I don’t think I’ll ever finish it 😒
I fully understand. I have beaten Dark souls 1-3, and have only completed about a quarter of Elden Ring. I think Soulframe will be a little bit easier to digest, but given that it is a DE game. We will see heavy time gates on progression or Pay to complete crafts on weapons and likely pacts. They haven’t mentioned the payment model yet, but I bet it will be just like Warframe.
They said that verbatim? I doubt it. Steve Sinclair himself said they had an idea of what they were doing when they called it “Soulframe” he then jokingly said that he was going to call it “Eldenframe” during the devstream last Saturday. So is it really clickbait?
What about Soulframe's gameplay excited you the most?
Yoooo this looks CRACKED. Not even heard ONE bit of info about it yet and i'm pretty surprised. Is it instances or persistent world?
@@Merlin_Price persistent world with instanced, procedural dungeons

@@Merlin_Price Man, Frank Frazetta is one of my favorite artists! As a teen I used to own a few of his Conan covers framed.

@Merlin_Price I agree 100% and thank you!
Just hearing about this game now, but it sounds GOOOOOOD
I’m definitely looking forward to it!
Game looks like a lot of fun! Great informational video! Looking forward to more on the game
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Did you think no one would notice your character's name is Krum Guzzlar?
😂 That is footage from the first gameplay video streamed by Digital Extremes. The game is in NDA currently.
Looks like a good framework for a solid game, hope it gets polished up.

the developer already sayd do NOT compare soulframe with soulslikes, they do not aim for that audiance. pure clickbait

The developers don't get to decide what it's audience compares their game to.
