Cheers chap, gave me the confidence to do the job myself and saved me £50 of garage fees probably :) Went just as you showed. Getting the seal back in place when fitting the new pump back in was the most time consuming and fiddle bit.
Thank you for the video :) I was wondering something. How do we know if it's aligned properly when installing a new one ? There is a third a arrow that indicates it. But i have no idea where it goes.

I have been to the garage and thay have quoted me over £400! to replace and fit. do you know were i can get a fuel pump that will fit my s3 8l 2003 quattro that's not so expensive? i can fit myself looks eazy ;) ok thank you and all the best
could you Tell me wich hose barb is wich on the pump body ? got 3 3 barbs one on the side and 2 on the pump itself, is the one on the side the one wich leads to the second pump a Audi S3 has?

Garage charged me £375 for this, although I didn't know what the problem was to begin with.
