How to know surely if it's a fuel pump problem and if I shoul change it?
My car VW Polo 1.2 cranks and it starts but a couple of seconds after it starts it turns off. Than I try again to turn turn it on again, it cranks but it doesnt start anymore. Than I have to wait for a while and all proces repeats.
Also, I don't hear the fuel pump in back of my car before I start the car.
Torque app doesn't show any fault codes.

if when you try to turn the engine on, even when it fails, you smell gas, your pump is fine. If you don't, you might need to get it fixed

@@RandoRandyAndy I have taken the pump out, cleaned it and washed the filter and put it back togeather, and since than it works fine by now. I dodn't fix it, I just cleaned it.

Do you know if they have a fuel plug at the bottom of the tank because i need to drain my tank. Im starting my polo with old gas, it starts but dies...hopefully its the gas
