Started playing last week. Quit Warframe about six years ago. This game scratches that itch and more. Absolutely loving it, and very very VERY F2P friendly.

I played without commitment and completed the campaign without any problems and managed to unlock 5 descendants. I really enjoyed the gameplay and co-op of the game, not to mention the Just Cause hook, without a doubt one of the best free games to play currently.
Yeah some new map and some new descdant but I will still try to unlock them old ones, 😅😅, there is a lot of replay ability in this game already and this just adds to it, much else they dont need to tweak much i feel, just new location, descdents and new map, maybe they up the battlepass a little bit although i think people will buy skins for their favorite descdants more likely, 😎

Yeah I did destiny 1 got super hooked on it, never got into destiny 2, but was looking for something like this pretty much a dream for both casuals and hardcore players, it has something for everybody i feel even if you only can play for a couple of hours here and there, the base game is just well put together and the variance with all the descedants just give it that extra push, and also that you keep your power and weapons except level when you wanna try a new one is just a win, 😎
You should try Warframe, though it's a bit rough for new players. FD might have potential but it would depend whether or not they listen to players feedback.

@@Alyrael no idea what are you talking about, I've been playing since 2017 and did a huge break from 2018 to 2023 but recently came back and game is in a better shape than before - grind is still there, tons of new content for me, visually I don't care much but it has its own style (which is good), looks pretty amazing for a 2013 game when maxed out. Especially new locations. What really matters to me is there's a lot of systems you can play with, so it's hard to get really bored. There's always something you could be doing, and the game loop feels incredible - you can support any gameplay you want with mods and different warframes/weapons - AFK bot, melee, gunslinger, caster, nuker, stealth, big damage numbers, fun builds and so on. Story-wise it got me hooked since second dream quest line, and it gets more and more crazy with all the backstory, time-travel and multiverse stuff. I wish story updates were a bit more consistent and often though. We need animated TV series! I can also compare this to recent gacha games I've been playing and what I really enjoy is that it doesn't do any FOMO tactics in terms of progression of your account, which is huge for my mental health. I can step away from the game for 5 years and would only need to invest maybe 2-4 weeks really farming to get all the power I need to progress with the current endgame. Well, not everything but most of things are available. But enough for this one. Which game would you suggest over Warframe?

Isn't that what new seasons are supposed to bring in any live service game? I think it's more of a patience thing. The game came out six weeks ago and some people paid or grinded for everything with nothing left to do. Others have been enjoying a more realistic slow approach while balancing life commitments so they're still experiencing new things in every game session. I purposely held off on all hard mode bosses because you don't need them to enjoy the endgame content. Most rewards are outside of those fights so I've just been unlocking characters, weapons, increasing mastery rank and investing heavily into 2 descendants. Now over the next couple of weeks, I'll start to play hard mode bosses leading right into season 2.

This is what I'm talking about. New season, new story, new characters, new content. Just what we need.
Isn't that what new seasons are supposed to bring in any live service game? I think it's more of a patience thing. The game came out six weeks ago and some people paid or grinded for everything with nothing left to do. Others have been enjoying a more realistic slow approach while balancing life commitments so they're still experiencing new things in every game session. I purposely held off on all hard mode bosses because you don't need them to enjoy the endgame content. Most rewards are outside of those fights so I've just been unlocking characters, weapons, increasing mastery rank and investing heavily into 2 descendants. Now over the next couple of weeks, I'll start to play hard mode bosses leading right into season 2.
