Something I must say I like the most about you is although dysons are your favourite vacuums you acknowledge how other vacuums are also great without a biased opinion unlike some channels you will always be god tier for vacuum videos also I unboxed a henry pet not long ago was pretty lucky no scratches on mine

I picked my one up at the beginning of the year. I had a DC27 which I gave to my cousin and George also replaced my mop and bucket. I used him to clean the car and carpets. Also I needed to turn the water off at the stopcock at one point, but it was full of water, so out came George and he sucked it right up! Oh and yes, I kept the box to store the bits in.
Good idea to keep the box to store the tools also this style box for most Numatics has been discontinued so if they change the George box it will be nice to still have that one
Great video and explanations. I would recommend though dont put carpet solution into George it is to be sprayed onto the carpet. Advice from the commercial cleaning company I bought it from. Reason she explained is the chemicals attract dirt so you want the dirt lifted off your carpet by spraying onto the carpet. She said NEVER put chemicals into George
This is correct. Speaking from my own line of work, mix the solution in a spray bottle ( pump prime bottle ) to the strength required and only have water in the Hoover. You can use a handled carpet agitator if needed .
Do you know of any cable reels or something similar that can be adapted to fit the George? That's my only pet peeve with this cleaner, lack of cable management like the Henry 😄
I use 60 degrees usually and it seems to be okay with that. I wouldn't recommend any hotter than that though, 60 is probably too high for it but it still works okay for me so I'll keep using 60.
One of the last of this style they are completely changing the design I saw them in the factory I'll have a look there is a sheet I'll try send a pic if I can find it

Have had my George for a few months as a main vacuum...he is sometimes too powerful 😅. He has eaten the keys on my mechanical keyboard a few times

The George never had a cable rewind unfortunately they just had a hook for storing the cable

Can you use hot water or will that melt it?
Very hot will damage the pump unfortunately but I’d say around 30 - 40 degrees would be the adequate temperature
I use 60 degrees usually and it seems to be okay with that. I wouldn't recommend any hotter than that though, 60 is probably too high for it but it still works okay for me so I'll keep using 60.

My George is different the buttons are on the front
So the reason they changed the handle from metal to plastic is because easier to hold

Has anyone have their george overheat? I got a brand new george and it turned off when i was using the upholstery and was very hot

It was a 2018 version and I got rid of it a few years ago
