I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

If you use it for regular house vacuuming it might be ok, but being an "industrial" machine (hobby level) i used it while i was building my house and for those purposes its completely useless, especially that flimsy nozzle is no good for anything but playing

I notice you left the internal FILTER fitted during the wet vac section of your video. Today I contacted the head office of Karcher to clarify the wet vacuuming procedure using this appliance. They state the filter cartridge should be REMOVED for any wet vacuuming task. The filter will rapidly wear out and be rendered useless as it will clog up and not perform the filtering job it is designed for.
They probably thought that the dust bag must be removed. In manual are written - "The cartridge filter must always be installed - with
wet and dry vacuuming. Note: Let the wet cartridge filter dry prior to using it for dry vacuuming."

It also seemed strange to me that you leave the filter to vacuum liquids since in my manual it says that you have to remove it before vacuuming any liquid

Do you have the same yellow filter? Maybe in the latest versions they have changed something and now recommend removing the filter.
I have the new design WD3 and it clearly states the the yellow filter MUST be fitted for wet vacuuming and that it should be allowed to dry afterwards for dry vacuuming.

In my opinion this vacuum would be the perfect vacuum cleaner ever if the hose was 1m longer... It is so short that in some instances you have to pick up the vacum in one hand to reach the spot. 1 meter is all it needs... Im thinking of making a custom hose :)

The round filter doesn't need to be cleaned after using it as dry vacuum? I have this vacuum and only use it for wet vacuuming, it's the first vacuum I have that uses dustbag too
After a while yes it should be cleaned but there will not be much to clean because dustbag collect almost all dusts.

Haven't try but if you use dust bag then it will work fine.
@@AliWall well i have a bosch universalvac 15 at the moment (bag + cloth filter + round paper filter like this Karcher) and it gets clogged up instantly, that's why I ask :)

Yes you can do dry and wet carpet cleaning but probably nozzle not the best for carpets. WD1, WD2, WD3 and WD4 will do the same job, they just have different look and some functions.

Emptying the dustbag might not be that easy if contains hair, carpet fibres and other dirt that gets collected and stays in the bag for weeks (usually the case where people dont empty the dustbags on a daily basis) . Also wondering if after using it for wet cleaning can it be used for a dry vaccum immediately as that would make the particles stick to the sides of the suction tube and hose
This dustbag is meant for single use only that way it is difficult to remove dusts out of it. But it is possible to buy reusable dustbags and they are easier to empty. Allow to dry after wet cleaning or as you told vacuum cleaner will get dirty.
It is 1.5 eur for piece so you do no have to. It is also pretty big.
@@darkonojic7494 it is so big, that at one point my wife was asking me to carry the vacuum cleaner. When I opened I saw 20 kg bag, mostly fill with concrete and building dust from diy at home 🙂

Using it without dust bug, will clog the filter and you will lose suction power. If something get troughs filter it may damage motor.

Yes and it needs to be used when doing wet suction. Never take off that filter or you can damage engine. After wet cleaning you need to dry that filter before use dry cleaning.

Mate, would you know if there is HEPA filter available for this machine? Also in your opinion, is this machine well sealed? ie any fine dust blowing out of it while dry vacuuming?
That yellow filter my be hepa filter but I didn't find any information. If you have allergy then I don't suggest this Karcher, it's more for workrooms not for house cleaning.

If it is no wet then yes it will be perfect using dust bag. But if its wet then you will need clean after every cleaning filter and after a while buy new filter.
Is it possible to do dry vacuuming without the bag? The dust would get collected which we can empty it and wash it off. Any thoughts?
Without bag, the yellow filter will clog quickly and suction will lose power. There is a possibility to break the engine. Because bag is like filter and the yellow filter can let some dust through. Also when yellow filter will clog motor will run at full power and that can destroy the engine.
@@AliWallSome people wrap paper kitchen towel or mesh round the filter and secure with rubber bands. This does exactly the same thing to protect the filter if you think about it. Also much easier to empty and cheaper as no bag needed.

Yes you can. But I don't recommend pumping too much water with it, as this will cause the engine to run at full power and prolonged operation in this mode may damage the engine.

No, it is not for cleaning carpets. You need to buy a special nozzle.

If it is wet then yes, you need take out dust bag and leave the yellow filter in.

For wet cleaning you don't need use paper bag, you need to take it out. I have shown it in the video.

From WD2 and WD3 definitely take WD3. I also have review for WD2. But I haven't used wd4 so I can't say if it will be better than WD3.

They don't have water filter. They are meant to suck up water or wet dirt. When you do wet vacuum cleaning then you don't need to use dirt bag.

Is it suitable for professional kitchen for daily use of wet suction? I just feel that the filter is not practical for wet suction every day.
If it's messy then you will need clean filter every day but otherwise I think it's good for wet suction.

If container is full, float doesnt close the suction opening. When its full and you didnt turn off the power it will leak outside
At 18:18 you can see when it is full, it no longer sucks water.

Yes, you can buy the nozzles separately. Original Karcher bags are made of paper and are disposable. But you can bought cloth bags that can be reused.

Yes, it's little bit louder than normal vacuum cleaners which are intended for residential houses but otherwise it's powerful and can do any jobs.

For dry cleaning need use bag because if you will not use it then filter will clog very fast and you will lose suction power. But you can find in market reusable fabric bags and also there is bags which can put on filter, then you can not use dust bag. I also have Karcher AD4 but it is only for dry cleaning. He doesn't need dust bags. I like it better than WD3. I have video you can check it.

Ali i am planning to buy "KARCHER WD 1s Classic *KAP - Multi-Purpose Vacuum Cleaner, Yellow" however it has a stainless steel body which I think may get dents but on other hand it has 1300 watt motor which i think is an edge. Do you recommend this or i should go with WD3? Pls, suggest.
I think they don't have big difference, just some features. Actually more wattage has nothing to do with more suction power. Wattage is only a measurement of how much power (or electricity) will be consumed. What I find out that WD 1s Classic and WD3 have the same suction power. I think you can buy whichever one you like better.
