Not quite as stunning, but damn close!
Right on the ball Nina, yes, dynamics is it, you don't sing it all the same way if you want to be memorable. Another name for dynamics is tonal variance. Yea watch the audition lol, do Nina. Agree with what you said Nina, yer great fun. I think her humour and communication confidence even if she's "sh&ting a brick" to coin a phrase nerves as she was meant to before this performance, when you communicate just adds another level of connection. I hope she never reels that in. Because like other stars, it'll serve her well, because like you said, above all, pitch, dynamic variation its that warm up laughter-you go to a concert or watch a program like you buy an ice cream or lovely dinner for "an emotional experience" right. To have become engrossed out of your everyday concerns, and you associate to the lyrics. And Syndie does that. I think the more now she keeps her feet on the ground the more she's make the right moves to steadily step by step to stardom. But that work has to be put in now and any record company money put in if its Syco Records has to be paid back via tickets before anything more than wages/expenses goes to the singer goes back to refund that right? So hopefully it works and hopefully Syndie can do some duets with her bf Max Rizzo whose trying to break through. Maybe he can give AGT a go. Of course the public will decide in time if he is as good.
I think you would be very surprised she came out playing in her work clothes and she blew my mind I was a singer in New York in the philharmonic I've been singing since I was born and I lost my voice in 9/11 no makeup on top of it a gorgeous she's gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous and she hasn't even fully fully bloomed into her mature woman but she's only 28 can you imagine Streisand well the two of them should sing together this is a new Barber

I saw her on a morning show interview, and not only did she praise her vocal coach on BGT, when asked what she was gonna do with the prize money, she said she was gonna hire her "because now I can afford her!"

For me it's in the top 2, and I really can't decide between them. Jimmy Herrod from AGT 4 or 5 years ago did a very different, but also spectacular version. I would love to hear the two of them do a duet version.
Sydnie Christmas IS the greatest singer ever on ANY "got talent" program. She is not just a great singer...she is a performer that tells a story with passion and clear articulation in her vocals. Sydnie is an emotional life changer for millions.

She has a talent for bringing her own unique sincerity to the way she interprets a song. When she auditions for people who lack her artistry and boldness, I can imagine they misunderstand her talent and fail to appreciate her divergence from the traditional structuring of the tune, and they think she's just not getting it right.
I watch a lot of vocal coach reacts to different type of videos on the Internet and I absolutely love the way that you structure yours you don’t pause every 20 seconds and go into this 3-5 minute rambling session. It’s just refreshing to see somebody be able to pause it speak a little bit on it and then continue. Sorry, I actually had to pause the video and comment this before I went on lol. Love it you got a new subscriber.❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s funny i sometimes get comments saying I pause too much so this was very refreshing to read 💖I know sometimes it can help with copyright problems that music reaction channels face so that might be a reason other creators are pausing lots - but that’s just my hypothesis. @@ninaschofield yeah probably so! But as a classically trained opera singer (Tenor) I must say it’s refreshing to see a channel be so simple with the explanations. I find a lot of vocal coaches or sings try to hard, using big words and musical terms that the everyday person wouldn’t understand l…..

holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this girl is absolutely incredible! I got goosebumps! There was a comment on her performance from the stage operator mentioning that in person shes above what hes experienced working there.

Her song choices are not only amazing, but they seem to offer an autobiography. She began with Tomorrow, next was My Way, and her final song choice was Over the Rainbow. It tells the story of a person never giving up, always thinking of tomorrow, but refusing to follow lead and always wanting to do it her way, and finally dream of her life over the rainbow. Well, as the winner of BGT 2024, Sydnie Christmas, your tomorrow has arrived, you did it your way, and you should be over the rainbow!
She makes these songs fresh,Ike the first time I ever heard them. She makes the songs totally hers!

Excellent breakdown of her performance. Regarding her prior experience. She was part of a cast for a couple of plays in the past. 1 in London and 1 in Germany. She also was a cruise ship performer for Royal Caribbean. So she has experience, but has never performed on The West End according to her interviews. She was an understudy before Covid closed everything. Not exactly a household name (yet). I heard shades of Judy Garland there. She also is very funny, as you’ll see in her audition, singing Tomorrow.

@LUFC123 nope she hasn't, although she has been a cast member of a couple of shows in the past but not in the West end.
She has only sung on cruise ships and as a cast member in Starlight Express in Germany. She has never been on a West End production.

News in, Syndie has tonight won the final vote. Innocent Masuku the next singer (operatic style) came 4th. She sung "over the rainbow". Loren has touchingly followed her having become aware (her AGT rendition being used on BGT during Sydnie's golden buzzer time which fans like myself advised on her channel as a full circle moment. Such respect for all you folk, Nina, Sydnie, Innoncent, Loren all singing beautiful music, its so challenging. Even for Simon back was in 20 years ago he advised in an interview he went broke & had to work his way back. Alot of folk get taken with TV like its a fantasy fame just happens. As you know its determination, opportunities taken, feedback from the right folk, mindset& timing of right place amongst people of influence. I just admire you all.
