My favorite part of the pokemon merch bit is the restraint shown. Like yeah theyre forcing him to buy pokemon merch but its like a reasonable amount of it. Theres some super expensive stuff on the website but they did a couple pairs of socks and a plushie. Thats a normal purchase

It's actually kind of convincing looking at it. That's about what you'd expect from a 3DS game. Low resolution and everything.
A lot of the ideas they had did make it look kind of real. If he toned down the screen damage just a tad, someone moderately naive enough would probably fall for it.

the clickmap thing was so fun and such a great way for jerma interact with chat and to make jerma laugh directly. he used it so creatively too

I figured it out during the SuchArt stream. In professionally-shot settings Jerma always looks the same, like a regular guy. In his streams he always looks different and a little strange. During the SuchArt stream I remember thinking “weird, for some reason he looks really small during this stream” and very soon after he revealed/discovered that his webcam was set up to capture a huge portion of the area surrounding him, all the way up to the ceiling, and he had just cropped it down to the 10% of the image that he was in. That’s why he looked small, he had accidentally created a tilt-shift effect on himself. That was when I realized: Jerma has never figured out how to properly configure his webcam, so he always looks off, and it’s in a different way every time. Like during the two-point campus stream where his face looked skewed somehow, everyone (including him) noticed it but nobody could articulate it.
Anyway in this one the lighting is weird so it makes him look like he’s wearing eyeshadow and lipstick, and also he’s wearing a tattered shirt that looks like a choker.
Legendary streamer.
