A lovely machine. The oval shaped dash is very pleasing to the eye. Bentley influences are there. Boot opener spot on. Wonder if the base model has the same interior. Screen too far away for my arms.
It's great to see my wheelbarrow will fit in the back😅
    😊
    Thanks Des

Nice to see this reviewed in right hand drive, thank you.
I find the interior design and UI/UX so much better than anything at this £86k price point than anything from Volvo, BMW, or Audi. Were I to want a car this size this would be on the short list. It clearly benefits from the Bentley influence.
What also interested me was the terrain setting which suggests a mild off road and all weather capability. That matters to me where I live in rural Worcestershire in the UK. It is a shame it can not tow at a higher braked weight though it might just about do a horse box plus a single horse in it. As a production note for Derek, it would be nice to know details about terrain and towing in all these sorts of reviews.

It's like they've built a car for that very small market segment... The old Rover 75 driver who now wants an SUV which is sort of modern and yet dated at the same time.

A lovely looking car, very definitely aimed at a specific market, targeting high level executives. Not for me though, I like my Niro EV SG2.

Genesis will likely not be coming to Ireland before at least 2026.
In March 2023, Genesis Europe managing director Lawrence Hamilton said that a further expansion to other European countries is set to happen in ‘three to five years’ time’, ie from 2026 to 2028.
Genesis Europe is currently marketed only in the UK, Germany and Switzerland.

point is that =HMG are trying to hit every segment with EV's, it can not be understated with deals with Toyota and GM now just what massive player they are now.

Kind of like it but it's a bit old fashioned . A bit of an old man's car perhaps. The small screen and all of the buttons. Nice but....
To me, it screams golf club. Which to them says avoid.
The other sister brands I am very happy to buy. Had a Hyundai and it was superb thing.
