  • Welcome to our latest video, where we tackle the age-old question: should you choose a career in consulting or tech after graduation? We take a close look at top consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain, emphasizing the unique opportunities they offer for high-impact work, rapid skill development, and diverse industry exposure. On the flip side, we delve into the exhilaration of working with state-of-the-art technology at leading companies like Google, Meta, Apple, and Amazon, and how these industry giants can provide a fulfilling and dynamic career trajectory.
In this video, drawing on our experiences at BCG and Google, we share insights into the advantages and drawbacks of both industries. We discuss the high-impact opportunities in consulting, the exposure to various sectors, the demanding work-life balance, and the intellectual stimulation derived from solving complex problems. Conversely, we explore the thrill of working on groundbreaking technology in the tech sector, the continuous learning experience, the responsibility for long-term impacts, and the challenges of navigating ambiguity.

People in the USA graduate at 20???
In Europe 23-24 is early and often 25-26.
Consulting great way to start; fast learning, high pay and great exit opportunities.

Deniz here, you're absolutely right; consulting can be a fantastic start after graduation!
In my case, I studied in the UK, where undergrad programs are typically 3 years long. So, it's quite common to graduate at 20-21 years old. But of course, not everyone starts at that age. Everyone's journey is unique!
