I think he messed up the description in the description. So what this does is it takes one video signal in and then copies it to four outputs. So you can basically have the same display on four screens.
@@MrEmuariahNo, your description is still wrong. This is exactly what you wrote: =Note: "My verbal inaccuracy regarding the input and output description in the video has so far been corrected in the text description below." Allows use of up to 4 HDMI devices through 1 HDMI source. Onn 4 way HDMI Splitter has 5 HDMI ports at the back. It has 2 Output and 3 input (which include 1 central input). The middle/central input will enable you extend display.= You say it has 2 output and 3 input and then say it has 1 input. So you contradict yourself. When you show the back of the box it gives a clear and simple explanation of how it works. = Split 1 source onto 4 displays.Watching the same thing has never been easier.= And it doesn't say anything about extended display. What this device does is only mirrors the display. When it says Some sources may not support multiple displays. It means HDCP coppy protection built into the HDMI standard will not allow it to be shown on more than one screen at a time.
This slpitter will take one video source and split it between multiple monitors. If you want to have multiple sources connected to one TV, then you need to get a switch.
