  • Mixing Tutorial One of Best Ever Made. Mixing Tips based on critical thinking rather than on hype and marketing nonsense. It can change how you think in a good way. No Mixing Tricks. It's more like Audio Engineering of the next level. To Attend a free trial Class of this Mixing Course online send email to: mixingcourse@andrewzeleno.com
    In This Video We Will Talk About:
    How we completely don't understand the simple principles of Audio Mixing. We focus on Plugins for Mixing instead of deep understanding these 8 Music Mixing fundamentals related to Frequency Response and fundamentals of EQ. This video has the highest likes and dislikes ratio I ever had on TH-cam over 10 years which is 99.1%. And many more people deserve to view this video. You are even going to learn what each harmonic really means, how to mix as balancing the instruments rather than just improving the tone of each instrument. Also you will learn things like Audiobility Threshold and more.

    I'm a former student, I refer to my notes from AZ's class *literally* all the time. One of the notes is my background of my computer and I have no intention of changing it until it's entirely memorized. AZ's class was a truly before and after moment for me in my life, I can't recommend it enough or thank him enough. I always loved mixing but now I LOVE mixing because I finally have the tools to get mixes I love and to continue to improve as well.

    You made the point very well. But i think most people already do know this,, almost every mixing lesson ive ever had has stressed that good leveling is first priority and most of the mixing process,, heck way back in the 90s when i taught myself mixing,,, i mixed all my tracks without using any track EQ!,, just leveling and panning (Mainly because i was doing it all inside a sampler and didnt have an EQ available for each track ) and my mixes, while not as good as what I do today,,still sounded quite good! Track volume is simply like a wide band EQ for a mix. Its also said " only EQ with a purpose and not just to simply EQ".

    It's very hard learning audio production from so many differing opinions on TH-cam - I tried, for years. You can pick up bits, here and there, and try to piece together an understanding - and, a bit like Dr.Frankenstein, after years of watching piecemeal videos you might produce something that resembles a satisfactory mix, or a monster! I think it was watching this video the first time that I decided to do Andrews course. No gimmicks or cheap tricks, just astounding insight, depth of knowledge and critical understanding. Nobody else is giving this level of education anywhere on TH-cam - I know, because I've looked. You could spend thousands on a university degree and not come out with as much understanding as I have, doing Andrews course. It's worth every penny.

This video and many others are on a totally different level for beginners and advanced audio engineers.... Knowing which moves to make and why is what will make your mixes better than the next engineers... Take the trial class! Thanks AZ!!!

    I’ve just recorded an album where the chords and bass are entirely made up of bass guitar… I found that by doing too much with EQ has had a negative impact overall on dynamics where as now by volume automation the mix is sooo much better… then I came across this video… I think its proving the point 🤔👊

    I'd like to see someone of your quality make the definitive tutorial on how to make the bass and particularly the kick translate IN CONTEXT. Everyone talks about add saturation etc but they never demonstrate how it affects the overall mix when you do it and how best to create a translating kick that doesn't spoil the overall mix in full frequency playback

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Applying saturation to the Kick is a random stuff. We apply it or or depending if the original sample really needs it. So how knows what they are talking about :) Probaply just posers. And that's why they don't demonstrate it as you said.

    Decent stock EQ in a DAW would do the job?

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      People who say all EQs sound the same don't have either ears or good monitoring. Even digital EQs sound in their own way. And you choose the one which works for you. Just saying stock DAW EQ would do the job is kind of Yes, but it would generalization.

    You know I said in one of your videos that TH-cam is just rubbish, it doesnt care to be a good search engine to suggest what we need based on what we watch, it just shows the same people, and refuse to show others even if you scroll down down TH-cam just refuse to show all the videos even if a video suit what you looking for. How can you be 10 years on TH-cam and I never once even knew you existed. When its like a school or uni your free videos. I said you should start running ads, not only you will sell more of your courses, nut more people will see your videos.
    And you can repeat some of your best video that didnt get suggested that way you push yourself through the algo which likes people work for it, like workers, but you are a business owner selling extremely valuable even schools might teach, if they even know some of the things I have seen in your video.
    I discovered you one week ago and wow wow really award needs to start in TH-cam run by humans too the value of each content creator and reward according their level not popularity.
    Thanks for creating a TH-cam chanel to share your secrets. Thank you may not be enough, but I dont even have a credit yet to buy support.
    But keep grinding till people see your stuffs.
    Peace and love from Belgiium
