    Andrew welcome back, good to see you again, cool winter hat! But seriously you have absolutelly fantastic audio engineering course! It is very fanny to see how many so-called audio engineers comment when new plugin appears on the market, they say something like it sounds cool or absolutelly killer and no any details at all! A striking example of this is the new SSL 4k E plugin by SSL where the compressor sounds more thin and less precise in comparisen with the Waves and Brainworks plugins. ..Hey guys don't forget to try Andrew's course, dont waiste your time, as they say it's sounds killer, but here you will get all the details on 200% !

    I think most of the videos on YT about sound engineering are affiliated and/or trying to make more "likes". Real deal is less entertaining, requires hard work and dedication and considered boring. But the result of hard work and critical thinking leads to amazing results. So this is my impression of your course. I Would definitely recommend it for one who is really interested in amazing sound production skills and not just in hype

    I was always afraid to turn up my sub bass for fear of drowning out the mix, and I also fell into the trap of eq'ing low out of everything. This video plus the volume fader being an equalizer video have me closer than ever to the sub bass in hiphop that sounds like it surrounds the whole mix no matter what playback system.
    Disabling all my eq's and not having to worry about resonant frequencies and just using compressors and transient shapers on everything has been mind blowingly helpful

    • @dannyprecysroadtoforever5234
      @dannyprecysroadtoforever5234 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AndrewZeleno1 My mistake the Core series drivers look similar to the LYD 48 but the core series have much more powerful amplifiers. Do you think the Class D amplifiers in the LYD7 have sufficient power for a medium size control room?

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All modern speakers are very loud. Of course if you are a guitarist who play a real cab cranked up, you don't have an ear sensitivity so maybe you need something louder. But for me (who keeps the ears fresh and good ear sensitivity) even if I put DynAudio at 88db input level, I need to decrease the level which goes from an audio interface or a monitor controller pretty a lot to make the monitors with adequate levels. As for your question if they are any good I have a very top end studio setup topic at my course, which explains that there is no good or bad monitors. They all suck. You need to understand what to expect from speakers and what audio parameters they can demonstrate and what parameters they can't demonstrate. There is no studio monitors in the world that can demonstrate more than half of all audio parameters properly.

    • @dannyprecysroadtoforever5234
      @dannyprecysroadtoforever5234 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AndrewZeleno1 Thanks for the reply, I probably should have reframed the question as it's not a matter of sheer volume as much as how the amplifiers respond when pushed. Class D amplifiers like what's in the LYD series monitors tend to be less forgiving when pushed and often are designed with built in limiters. My studio in Nashville has a 20x16 treated control room and I was concerned that the LYD 48's would not have enough headroom for that space. Yes monitors are subjective and none of them are perfect but having monitors that translate well and offer satisfying playback for clients is very important in my area being there is a recording studio on every corner many which are doing major label work. Keep up the good work and thanks for what you do for the cats and dogs.

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Then you are looking in the completely wrong options. DynAudio monitors are the worst for your clients' playback. DynAudio monitors are for the mixers to show honest ugly midrangy muffled boxy sounds. At least Core 47 and Lyd7. Not sure about 48. 48 can be more lying and clearer sounding while your mix is not. Don't use DynAudio monitors to impress your client. Use any other lying monitors like Genelec, Neumann, Adam, hi-fi monitors. And yes. I support animals every month. Especially in Ukraine as they don't have many people to support them right now. And they never had. Ukrainians suck in helping animals. I try not to be like that as a Ukrainian/Russian. btw yesterday I was driving in Canada and found two big dogs just running along the road. I was impressed that nobody stops to help them. I found the owner in 30 minutes.

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a combination of my processing, Shure SM7B mic (I chose the right one out of many SM7Bs), Neve 1073 preamp with a special level to saturate the sound, SSL converter for clear translation, unique acoustics in the room. And a couple of more things. As you can see it's not just "what should I buy?"

How do you get your room soundproof and not echo? A big thing for me is getting rid of this echo and I've tried so hard but it seems like nothing I do will get rid of it.

    • @AndrewZeleno1
      @AndrewZeleno1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I mean there is tolerance between all mics of the same model. I tried 4-5 different 7Bs and chose the right one for me.
